I came back on in 2007 for the first time since 1984 and couldn't believe how much radio had changed in that time. not only is it dead apart from truckers mon-fri the majority of ones who use it are all bucketmouth morons hellbent on destroying what was once a good hobby for anyone who wished to use it. i've since done the first two parts of my ham licence and would recommend it to anyone it's fantastic.
