What my friend did for boots on a cosplay of hers was buy a cheap pair at a thrift store and spray painted them the colour she needed instead of buying a really expensive pair.
AH! that totally happened to my nintindo DS! like the little bendy thingies like broke off to where the only thing hole the two screens together was the wires! but i <3 my DS so i wound up duct taping it back together^^ thats how cheap i am o.O
@jordysayrawr it's true indeed it is^^ im one of those big duct tape nerds that makes everything out of duct tape... even a pair of shoes...DUN DUN DUN!!!!! there actually pretty cool though. and comfortable^^
