But it does mean clog in French... a wooden shoe is also called a clog. I think either you are not French, or you have a very poor vocabulary.
Your profile says that you are a 16 year old Canadian, so I'll take it to mean that you are just ignorant and don't have a very verbose French vocabulary.

You may want to do some research, as I have done. Any one can use google and quickly find that sabot can mean shoe or clog. There are even translation websites that translate sabot to mean shoe. You once again show your ignorance by assuming your mastery of French but for someone your age, this is not surprising. Please do not take the English word 'ignorant' to be an insult. It simply means that you are misinformed and uneducated. You undoubtedly learn more words in French as you grow up.
