  • The first solo around 1:58 is flute; I'm doing it for orchestra this year. Then the oboe comes in, then the flute again.

The oboe solo is gorgeous though (:

  • I happened across this on the TV today, on the Art of Landscape's UK Freeview channel. The insistence of the main theme does capture something of the windmill's determination and relentless turning in the face of the wind, up there on the downs (shouldn't anthropomorphise a windmill I suppose, but there you go).

  • exceptional video choice.

  • the windmills are called jack and jill in sussex uk

  • I have to play the solo at 2:51 for one of my audition pieces to get into a band at college :)

  • Are you referring to the oboe? If so great! i love that solo

  • @dieliebeausmusik

I don't think that is oboe, should be flute.

  • Ah, Landscape video's.are you planning to upload more of these video's?

  • Beautiful, the should've checked the note at 2:46 though, when in tune and not accented it is magical, much better at 3:16...

  • i totally agree, it was very nice

  • good orchestra, but a more than boring video

    BORING VIDEO!!

  • tru dat

  • not true. you've got to look at it from a perspective. this video matches the song perfectly. both are about the countryside, and peace, and rhythm...both are something you have to have patience to listen to/watch, but it's well worth it
