@7m28 If you would really like to know, I settled on a 02 WRX. I havent found anymore good deals on a 350 which I would have gotten over a WRX too. But Im going to get a WRX next week.
You are holding the shifter wrong but it looks like it's shifting real smooth anyway. I hate shifting into 3rd in my 6 speed Accord, it's hella notchy.
@dakota2610 I don't really like manuals to be honest. I'm fine with my semi-auto on my rsx. Especially when you're shifting 2nd to 3rd gear. With semi-auto, you can switch gears rapidly without using the clutch pedal.
@MomentRising True except for the rapid part. I used to have an auto RSX and sometimes that shit would just not downshift. That's part of why I sold it and got my Accord, but honestly the grass is always greener for me. I get smooth shifts for now with GM FM syncromesh and holding the shifter a weird way but will still probably go back to auto for my next car.
@wagaiznogoud I can rev-match and heel-toe. I didn't really find it necessary in this driving situation because everytime I would downshift I wasn't breaking hard and only doing it so I could give myself space between the driver in front of me so I could speed up.
@dementedfish1 Hey, I want to buy myself one of these cars, but their FWD and I was wondering is you step on it a little bit on a wet road if the tire will start sliding? Thats the only thing holding me back from buying it because I dont know yet. I know proper tires will help but I still want to know wether this will happen.
@element509 i have an 05 rsx type s and believe me don't let the fact its fwd stop you from buying it. it really is a great car. reliable, good on gas but still quick, easy to work on, cheap to insure, and quite the sight to look at. proper tires will help but you may get some wheel spin here or there. but its nothing bad, as long as you keep your rpm's under about 5k you won't have any problems.

@1fastk You're thinking of double clutching. There's no need to double clutch a transmission with synchros. Rev matching is just getting the RPM's to the same speed as the tranny, therefore saving your clutches life.
I really enjoyed this video. I like watching people just cruise around on twisty roads, or just cruising in general! Will you be doing any videos like this again?
those rear viewe mirros are called pig spotters just because theyre a little wider n bigger than stock ones and it helps you spot out more shit that a stock one would have u miss i have onee in my h22 :]
Not to be racist or anything, but whats up with every Asian dude and the mega-huge rear view mirrors? I can see perfectly well out of the stock one. Non of my other friends ever use them except my Asian buddies. I don't get it haha :)
@sdlausen Haha yea I hear ya on that one, but I'm not Asian and I have one lol. I actually think that Broadway mirrors do help a little bit to see in the corners the stock mirror would miss, especially in coupes.
helps a whole lot with the blind spots... one time i drove without it after using it for so long and i almost hit a motorcyclist who was in my blind spot...
call me lazy i guess, but its just too much effort to turn my head around haha.
@DjxDanku Not sure what you do when you drive, but I'm always aware of who is around me. When cars pass me in other lanes, or when I pass them, I know who is there and who isn't. I've never had a problem with blind spots because of this. If you're a good driver, you should know who and what is around you. I drive an RSX-S which has a nice blind spot as well. I've been driving for 10 years and not one accident or ticket. Just my 2 cents.
@sdlausen I got one and you can definitely catch a lot more spots that you wouldn't on the stock one... but my back is tinted so dark i hardly ever use my rear views at night :P
@matherman32 I used a manfrotto tripod in the back seat, I had two legs on the floor and one on the center of the seat and weighed them down with some weights I use for my lightstand for my photography speedlights.
What year is your type s? Do they handle better than DA integras?

This probably just convinced me to buy a RSX instead of a Subaru WRX, RS. This or a 350z.
