I am always enthralled by Mats Ek's work, mainly because his movement is always musical--unlike that of Angelin Preljocaj, Wayne MacGregor, William Forsythe, et al. who just seem to impose movement on top of the music they are using. In short, they could use different music and keep the same choreography. Plus, Ek is always witty, ironic, sarcastic and not so serious--all the time.

@ploplisphilin Yes, you are so right. There is lots of humor in his choreographies, which makes them so very watchable.
