NEVER NEVER NEVER use metal tools to take apart computer equipment, except for the TORX drivers. They make plastic pry tools for that part.

@monister209 Easy. Just order a new touchscreen Digitizer and follow the steps of tear down and assembly. BE VERY CAREFUL though. ;-)

Hi, My 4 year old son dropped my Droid X into the toliet. I immediately googled cellphone in toliet. I put in in a freezer bag in the fridge for 3 hours. Then I put it in rice over night. Tried it this morning. When I plug it in the little red light is on the top but that is it? Is it now fried since I tried to turn it on several times? Should I take it apart and try to blow dry it? Thanks for your response.

you arent supposed to take the battery out with a screwdriver, it has a flap that u simply pull to remove the battery which appears to be gone on your x.
