Opposing a religion or criticizing it isn't the problem, as thousands of articles and books are written against many religions, but the issue is that they used what Muslim consider important and holy in their song, which is clearly disrespectful to Muslim people and their religion.

of my personal beliefs,since i am a muslim i choose not to to listen to his particular song however i do not hate the band in any way and i do not think they hate islam or are targetting it only.In songs like 'cry for the moon' it is obvious they are talking about how christianity also restrains people. I think its silly when people get all bent out of shape when a metal band makes a song about religion. In general a lot of metal bands write many songs over a career geared toward that topic. In my band we have 2 songs on one album about it. It's not necessarily about what religion stands for as much as its about the people who take it too an extreme by exiling and murdering people who may not agree w/ said religion. So don't get so offended, b/c its just another way of looking at something

of my personal beliefs,since i am a muslim i choose not to to listen to his particular song however i do not hate the band in any way and i do not think they hate islam or are targetting it only.In songs like 'cry for the moon' it is obvious they are talking about how christianity also restrains people. They are athiest that is part of their beliefs and i respect that i do not hate but i can translate their lyrics and give it my own meanings which are good enough for me (: peace everyone!

This song is NOT about insulting Muslims! It's about people taking their religious beliefs too extreme and identifying w/ it in a violent way (terrorism, abuse, murder ..etc). However in reality ... those kinds of horrible acts are not condoned by religion at all! That's why they say "fool kneel for me again" because those who take their religions name in vain and using it too condone harm are FOOLISH! I am not religious at all but it doesn't take much too realize that's what this song is about!

Listen to the track 'living a lie', one which comes before this one on the CD. It's critic on the Christian religion. Listen to more of their tracks. It's not the islam they are against but extremists fighting in the name of religion and abusing religion.

Youre attempting to justify it within a moral framework by man, but my point is you said to point out verses that say this kind of stuff, which ive done. Also, killing others because they are attacking you is ok for humans, but your god and the christian god both say to "turn the other cheek" at certtain parts of their holy word. Thats because they both contradict themselves, and so are dumb :P

I think its silly when people get all bent out of shape when a metal band makes a song about religion. In general a lot of metal bands write many songs over a career geared toward that topic. In my band we have 2 songs on one album about it. It's not necessarily about what religion stands for as much as its about the people who take it too an extreme by exiling and murdering people who may not agree w/ said religion. So don't get so offended, b/c its just another way of looking at something
