OMG they took down the other version THANK you for reposting this because I thought I would never find this!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I thought Dusty Springfield sang this all this time! THANK YOU YOU MADE MY 6 months I LOVE THIS SONG!!
I can't believe I just put a commercial in my favs! Lol when I watch this commercial It takes me back like if I'm standing in front of the tv years ago and all the talking and noise happening around my house. So weird!
I would always wait for commercials, just to hear this one. There is something about this commercial that is so beautiful! I don't even like the jewelry :P
I LOVE this song. I'm a figure skater and i skated to a piece of music which was a couple songs compiled together and this was one of them! This program was the first one that sent me to nationals so I always have a special place for this song in my heart!
This video always captivated me. Everytime it came on it stole the attention of whatever I was doing. I would turn up the t.v. really loud to hear the song and watch all the things take place. It makes me think of my boyfriend and how beautiful it will be to have him propose to me...
and how fragile it is, too, with the dandelions floating perilously close to the the water, and then the spiderweb; both dandelions then join the powerful horses running free, sort of like how you feel when you get this diamond pendant from someone you love, maybe?
I did a google search, and it said the song is "What Are You Doing The Rest of Your Life" by Shirley Bassey. The lyrics are as follows:
"What are you doing the rest of your life? North and South and East and West of your life I have only one request of your life That you spend it all with me"
No way, that's definetly Dusty Springfield singing. Can't you recognize her gorgeous voice? yum. You're right that Shirley Bassey sang (wrote?) it originally, though
i like how it makes me feel. it epitomizes the height of what commercials should do, and if I were straight, I would want to give or get this diamond pendant.
does anyone know who is singing the version of this song in the commercial?

truly, whoever made these commercials, is really in touch with what it means to be in love, don't you think?
gregkanczes 4 years ago
Yes. I agree or at least they know how to capture what they believe it feels like to be in love. It sure has me all into the commericals.

If I had a lot of money, too, I guess.

Yeah I know what you mean....lots and lots of money! I'll probably never get one but you're right, the commercial did it's job.
