@KikujiroChan no you cant not in sons of liberty the original version you cannot play as snake at all after the first mission, cuz raiden is the main character and i beat mgs2 5 times, you probably can on the substance version but not the real original version, cuz that wouldnt make any since in playing as snake in that mission at all.

substance was definatly released for ps2. and sons of the patriots will not be on xbox 360, the machine isnt good enough to play it. the blue-ray mgs4 is using all 60gb on the disc

The ps3 isn't even fully backwards compatablie. MGS4 really is for PS3, there were talks of porting it to the xbox 360 as well, but that's not confirmed. MGS1 however was out for PSX and PC, but i never heard of sons of liberty, or substance for the PC...substance was only for XBOX, I think they cancelled the PS2 release...if not I can't find it anywhere....and now there's MGS3, with MGS3: subsistance for PS2....
