@jonnymcnickle yes it is yoga which is originated from india and its a sanskrit word and hindu are people of india thats why he has called it hindu pushup. here in india it called ""dand-baithak""

I believe those hindu pushups would be more enjoyable to do if a female exercise partner was involved (preferably under me) lol....and I never gave spartan push ups a try yet perhaps i will make some gains. nice tips

It's not the Hindu version if you are going back the same way you went down. What you did are dive bombers. Steve Maxwell does some videos of the correct technique. I like those Spartan pushups though.

There are actually 12 kinds of Indian Push-ups. Both of these you are referring to also are in those 12.
