Dealers DO force people to buy their gear, the very fact they sell drugs to people means they get people addicted. And because cigarettes are legal does that mean drugs are ok? No it doesn't. The drugs they deal destroy peoples lives. The drugs they deal fund countless other crimes. A lot of them would quite happily kill people if it meant they would get paid. I can go on. Hi Browzer- I am a citizen of this country therefore I have every right to judge that something that is a crime is wrong. I do understand their situation as I grew up in shit worse than anything here down south. But that doesn't mean that they shouldn't be punished for a serious crime. Now if I was bashing the police then that would be a different story, but I'm bashing criminals. Its not like they're stealing bread to feed their starving families.

Of course I can judge people that commit crime. This isn't a third world country, no one will die of starvation or be involuntarily homeless for very long and we have public health care, so the 'poverty' that is seen in this country is no excuse for crime. At the end of the day the law is there for a reason. Each law has defenses people can use written into it and guess what? the fact that you wanted to buy something you didn't have isn't one of them so tough shit.
