However, they give the wrong image to Utada Hikaru, Aya Matsuura, and Morning Musume.

well 15 would usally mean that the person in question is around the same age. 20 is really pushing it, there is a whole greay area when its like 18 year old and a 15 year old as they would still be in the same generation if you get what I mean. But the reason why, as you put it "more age difference = more disgusting" is because it usally means someone praying on someone who is too young to fully understand and so takes advantage of that inocence to do something abusive and just wrong.

As long as the one partner is at least of age enough to understand and make decisions (some nations 13, others 15, some 18etc) but lets say puberty or post-puberty. PEople still see it as "praying on" which contradicts itself, since "praying on" would have to mean one being under age of comprehension mentioned.
