He's still alive, saw him last night in New Orlean's House Of Blues. He was INCREDIBLE. The band even sat behind my family in the restaurant part of HOB! Then we were right by the stage. It was one hell of a show, go see him!

He definitley plays in a guitar style similar to Stevie, especially in his more blues based records, but that in no way detracts from his skill as an artist. In no way is it an insult to say someone sounds like Stevie Ray; and what the hell Stevie died too young anyway. Our generation needs guitar heroes.

KWS does NOT shit on SRV at all, but he does rip off these elements of SRV's approach: 1) Tone, 2)Phrasing, 3)Licks, 4)Facial Expressions...sometimes it's almost comical to see how MUCH he trys to play like his hero...it's time for the kid to grow up and show some originality.

Yup, I agree. I understand that change is inevitable in order to survive/grow etc., but judging by this, Kenny has apparently crossed over into the land of the ordinary - a place I have no interest in. Goodbye Kenny, & thanks for everything, up to this.
