when I was studying in the UK, first American I ever met there said "I just watch fox news and I think Glen beck is the smartest person, you should see his show" now, I dint know what to expect cos I have no clue who he was, and I wanted to date this girl who said this to me. So, I watched his show, it was instant, I knew the reason why Europeans think Americans are dumb. I still think Americans are dumb but that goes only for republicans. I am an Indian

@tether37 I listen to him and find him fascinating at time, but I always remind myself how he (like everybody else) has an agenda. Most of his lies are half-truths. He preaches religion non-stop which i object to and he preaches to the audience how this is a christian nation built on christian values. This couldn't be further from the truth. The Treaty of Tripoli makes it clear we are not a Christian nation and most of our prominent founding fathers were Deists; not Christians.

@friscob1 Well I think what he's trying to say is that the U.S is predominantly Christian, which is true. You can find the demographics on that anywhere. I believe the U.S is like mid 70% Christian. And you're right, we do have freedom of religion, and I would imagine the Treaty of Tripoli makes that clear, but I think he's right in that most Americans were built on Christian values; the majority of Americans have been brought up to call God "God" and nothing else. I'm not sure what Deists are..

It is truely upsetting that Mr. Beck cannot step back from his personality enough to think about the people he is talking smack about. Barbra Walters started out as a receptionist and has worked her way up to one of the most prominent characters in the business. Whoopi Goldberg was nominated for an Oscar & won a Golden Globe for her debut film. It just goes to show how low this man will sink that he cannot respectfully talk to or about people.
