    I did this recipe and there is not enough water in the pan for 40 mins and even adding more water at 10 mins. I ended up for a hour scrubbing a very burnt saucepan. Thank god I got it in time. The flavour of the chicken was very charcoal.

  • Once your water comes to a boil, reduce the heat. This will help prevent the pan from boiling dry. Also very important to have a well-fitted lid.

    I put water in the pan about 1 inch deep.
