  • how would you format the cell so that there is a border in the middle min won't let me do so

  • I could listen to you talk all day; perhaps a possible career in radio in the future?

  • How do you format then entire column to always do the greater/less option. Meaning like your example of higher or lower than 9 -if you have a continued spreadsheet that will be added to-can you format the entire column of C to always calculate that without having to go back & do any paste formulas etc....?

  • Is this excel 2007 or 2010? Please get back to me ASAP

  • @StewartHaasNewman It's Excel 2002 or 2003. MS Office 2007 and 2010 have a new, different interface -- mainly "the ribbon" atop the screen, left margin to right. It newly groups functions differently. For example, in upper left corner is an "Office" button that when one clicks, drops down a menu like the old File button. Fairly easy and quick to get used to. YouTube has Excel 2007 and 2010 tutorials you can "graduate" to. Have fun!

  • hi nirajrm and MotionTraining,

i guess MS have removed the floating colour palettes feature from Excel 2007 just becouse they have improved it: you just need to select what you want to format then drag the mouse over the color you want, then it gives you a sample of the result.

PS: you are a very good teacher!

  • Hi,

Thanks a lot for nice presentations....

I was wondering about the presence of "floating menu" for background colors and font colors in MS Excel 2007.

    Thanks again.

    Keep it up.

  • Hi nirajrm, Sadly, I think that MS have removed the floating colour palettes feature from Excel 2007. Maybe they will bring them back in a future upgrade.

  • @MotionTraining Yeah I noticed that! too bad :'( why would you remove somthing SOOO useful?

  • Thank you. Your tutorials are terrific. You're a great teacher. I was dreading learning Excel, and you've made it really easy.

  • I wish people that are paying so much for classes can see your tutorials. I have absolutely no excel experience, but you style of teaching is making it so very easy for me to learn. Thank you and I truly appreciate it, I am on the way of watching all your videos, you are turning a beginner into and expert Thanx
