  • yeah this is not intense at all. but yeah i understand if this was ur first time in sim racing, it would be..sort of intense. see i come from nascar racing 4 and this is nothing lol

  • "I would like to thank my imaginary girlfriend for letting me race today"

  • its harder then it looks i do it to

  • he wants to "thanks all his guys back at the shop"? there are no mechanics in any race shops on Iracing lol

  • at 3:23 u blocked that black truck and almost wrecked him...besides that this vid was plain boring lol

  • No, thats not intense. Close, but not as much as 4 wide @ Michigan. Now thats intense. I personally would rather run the trucks at places like Charlotte and Michigan. And for anyone interested in iRacing, I suggest buying Michigan when you move into trucks before anything else Oval track wise. Its helped me learn how to get around tracks like Charlotte better, plus Michigan is just plain fun to race on!

  • You should let off the gas when you shift gears. You might not be so lucky next time.

  • what is intense? just some bump drafting?

  • It was my first ever experience in simRacing, specifically in super speedway racing. The bump drafting and tight pack racing was "intense" to me.

  • @OppressioN25 well yea expesially when ur the one driving

  • @busfleet6 After battling it out for a good half an hour of pure racing, I could see how any little screw-up could be a game-ender. I'd be sweating bullets!

  • How many laps(or miles) are the truck races normally for IRacing just curious.

  • A race is usually finished in about 45 minutes, with a caution or two.

    Daytona is 50 laps.

    Lowes 80

    Bristol 140

    NHMS 90

Those are some of this season's listings.

  • Thanks.

  • thge wheel is so jittery cause it has the same exact surface as daytona, and its really bumpy, so u gotta react to the bumps.

  • Do you drive in real life or just video games?

  • Why is your wheel so jittery?

  • I have a very bad habit of "sea-sawing" on the wheel. Plus, going in and out of the draft causes some pulling, and changing of dynamics in the wheel. Daytona by no means, is smooth either, you can see just how much the trucks move too.

    I use a Driving Force GT(DFGT) wheel.

  • Ah, ok, I was just wondering because I haven't seen that effect before. I just switched to a DFGT (poor man's G25 ;) ) as well, after 6 years with a Microsoft Sidewinder FF.

  • HEy how do you get the voice chat in your replays?

  • I used FRAPS. This records all audio heard. Even the ventrilo that might be running while you're recording the ingame footage from demos.

This footage was actually shot 'live'. I was capturing frames while racing.

  • Trucks at Daytona are awesome if you get a good group together. Thanks for the vid.
