i dunno if it's still tyhere but there's a skate shop on that mall near the skate park, lkooks like a little island but there expensive as fuck. it was about 50KD a board (Cliche or Toy Machine) so i hope that includes grip.

there are loads of little spots i found like salwa park has three sets of 6 stairs in a row, there's a decent sized handrail around hawally, a lush natural kicker by the scientific centre and there are 3 marble spots on the gulf road stretch opposite burger king. there's probab;y more but that's all i found

the spot you're talking about opposite of burger king, is it the one that has slopes with stairs in between? i've been there several times but never seen anyone skate there. great spot though
