  • this is amazing, when did he go on the moon...??

  • THANK YOU SIR DAUGHTER OF PATTON JOYCE

  • Comment removed

  • and the flag rasing on Iwo Jima was also fake too! So if you were not born when this was on live televison... we do not give a rip what you have to say!

  • i want to watch this video while listening to the Space Odyssey soundtrack

  • Yeah right, keep believing that. How could he have landed on the moon when he stuck the flag on the moon's surface it started waving, now tell me how can i flag wave itself without any air particles ,it's SPACE and you have VACUUM.

  • Thumbs up if you came here because you just rewatched the Doctor Who Silence episode.

  • ONE SMALL STEP FOR NYAN, ONE GIANT LEAP FOR NYANKIND!!!! :)

  • man will space walk

  • Skip to 2:22 if you want to hear the quote

  • Armstrong:This is one small step for a man.

Silence: You should kill us all on site.

Armstrong: One giant leap for mankind.

The Doctor: And one heaping kick up the backside for The Silence.

    DW FTW.

  • dr. who

  • i can see the moon landing from my telescope, just the eagle lander

  • Humans are not smart enough to go to the moon, this did not happen. We do not have the resources, look how weak our rocks are, how far away the moon is, and the suits they wear. How do they know so much? I doubt this is real. It is Hollywood trying to trick and control you.

  • @anythingnew haha you don't have the resources to know if we do or not "look how weak our rocks are"

"nuclear weapons are not real, look at the massive explosions... Can't be true, nope, I think hiroshima and nagasaki were both set up in the back yard of a random scientist"

ignorant, stupid, moron, words can't explain you

  • @GamingSponsorship

Humans are pathetic, they can only create things to destroy. Death and destruction is all they are good at.

  • @anythingnew Our rockets were certainly powerful enough. And please, stop being all about doom and gloom. Sure we're not perfect but people who say all we do is destroy are morons.

  • @Zeus0Moose

No wonder why aliens are hiding, cause even they don't like us.

  • @anythingnew they? last time I checked you were also part of that sentient species

  • What the hell is that thi--

    Huh. Was I saying something?

  • "One small step for man"

"And one giant kick up the backside for the Silence"

  • @Yallniggasbetrollin yyyyyyeeeeesssssssss the best program ever!!!!!

  • I've never seen it from this perspective.

  • Cough Cough 'fake' Cough Cough

  • To everyone saying that it is "that's one small step for A man" instead of "that's one small step for man" are all retards and can't hear. Listen to it closer.

  • To think this happened almost 50 years ago now and we have stopped manned space missions to the moon and other planets. We should be trying to get as far a humanly possible not sending stupid cameras around planets we cant even set foot on. Hurry up and go to mars already lmao.

  • 2:22 That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind."

  • God I love this phrase

  • MAANKINDDDD WTF IS "NASA" SHIT

  • @jplz93 Niel said it. NASA didn't make scripts and say "Okay, Niel, we want you to say 'One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Just saying that puts the blame on NASA. What Niel said is true, look at what we found from Mars. We found out that there was life there, now all we have to do is actually send people there.

  • definitely was a giant step for mankind

  • Comment removed

  • 8 dislike's 128 like's haha 128 like's beat's 8 dislike's but I ask why would someone dislike this video it's an awsome video stupid people these days huh

  • He said "One small step for A man. And one giant leap for mankind." It just didnt pick up his words really well because he's so far away.

  • ITS A CONSPIRACY MAN!!!!!

  • Mythbusters tested the rumors that they never landed on the moon...

Myth busted. We've been there. We've done that.

  • 1 small step for man 1 giant step for my nipple

  • @legokid1593 shit

  • 2:21

  • @JRhalo14 wat abaut it

  • @markacanada it skips to the quote

  • The actual quote is:

"...It's one small step for man...... but a giant leap for NASA.."

and, English isn't my first language, so I can't be so specific about the second part, but I guess that he actually doesn't says "a giant leap".

Conversely, "for NASA", it's definitely clear. Not to be discussed..

  • @DerAdler82 He really says "NASA" !? I understand "mankind" over and over again...

  • seven russians didnt like this

  • Rumors say that they never was on the moon, That the whole thing was fake

  • @Daicern owrly

  • Go to 2:21 thats where he says the words

  • How is it "Infamous?"

  • Okay...Keep dreaming. I doubt the future is based on science fiction tho.

  • I don't deny the convenience of technology. We all use it every minute, therefore were all spoiled by it. But what i'm hearing from you is that we don't NEED technology, but its sheer awesomeness is too satisfying to imagine life w/o it. We create technology to try and fix problems that are Self-created. The truth is no matter how far technology advances, were still left with the root of our problems unsolved. I Mean we wouldn't have to leave if we wern't destroying earth with, well, technology.

  • @minimann123 Yes, we do try to advance technology...why you ask. Becuase without increase in technology, our society will fall apart. All our problems can't be solved with technology. But without advancing our technology, our problems are only going to grow. What this video shows is an accomplishment mankind has dreamt of for thousands of years. We can't delay technology to solve our problems because they can't be solved. The only way to go is forward.

  • @tbk017 "Without increase in technology, our society will fall apart," is a fallacy. Technology solves pet peeves, not real problems. Our problems are poverty, disease, crime and things of that nature. And tell me one time in history we have absolutely needed technology. U notice that technology eventually always goes outdated right? Nothings ever good enough, everythng has to be better. That's proof that technology can't solve problems if they keep having to make it better.

  • @minimann123 I think that crime and shit like that should not exist!! I think all our money should go on science, tehnology, medicine and that we should start making a way of fast travel through space. I think there are bilions of planets like earth!!!

  • @minimann123 There are practical problems solved by technology. Disease was WAY worse before the introduction of penecillan, etc. We exterminated small pox, one of the most chronic afflictions of mankind thanks to technology. In addition, the standard of living of most human beings VASTLY increased after the industrial revolution. Besides, while cars are infamous as polluters, they're much cleaner than horses and buggys and go much faster. Human progress is marked by technology.

  • Sneezing panda has a zillion views...this has not even 60k.....that's just sad...

  • "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind??????"

This is NO giant leap for mankind, because this did nothing to improve life on earth. America is so set on technological advancement and this pointless space race, and yet we still haven't found the ways to solve the real problems on this earth: poverty, racism, crime, war. "When the words of lying men sound lush like the sound of a violin," don't be fooled. We didn't take a giant leap, we're walking backwards. -TheTruth-

  • @minimann123 one small kick for me, one giant foot up your ass.

and why do you care? obama is cancelling nasa projects now so up yours and that was like then was creating anti-matter is now. incredibly awesome and it still is

  • @runnybabbit12 You ask why i care? I'd like to ask you why YOU don't care? If nobody cared or had morals in this country, all hell would break loose(literally). All i'm saying is we'll never have control over what goes on beyond our atmosphere. Sure we're gaining knowledge, but we NEED constructive knowledge. If we've yet to form a just, free society after 200 something years, why do we spend our time, money and effort learning how awesome outerspace and antimatter is? Because people dont care??

  • @minimann123 Think of it this way. using the info from the mission reinforced theories of the moon's formation, proved the man can travel just about anywhere, and it made america extremely badass at the time.

just about all of astrophysics and astronomy is useless with the exception of maps and star charts. but eventually humans (should we survive that long) will need to leave earth and go some where else

  • Comment removed

  • i herd that theres some kind of mirror left there to prove that we landed on the moon. Mithbusters tested this whith a BIG laser and there was a reflecion on the moon !!!

  • anyone that thinks this didn't actually happen is a complete fuckwad. you cannot take the experience away from the astronauts that did it. you cannot possibly believe that any government no matter how great could hide such a massive event and yet no one would talk? Seriously people go kill yourselves, it insults my intelligence reading these comments about lies of the moon landing. so to all you non-believers, FUCK OFF, go pretend this didnt happen somewhere else. and no Im not american.

  • @fast2ghl I agree. Some people just like to hear themselves talk and can't be happy for anyone's success. I wish to stay alive long enough to see the Mars landings one day!!! Just the emotion!!!

  • @fast2ghl canada is in america so you're an american deepshit

  • @XxChicoR3b3ld3xX You're a dumb fuck.

  • @XxChicoR3b3ld3xX wow you really know your geography

  • @iceman34m Actually Canada is in America, just not in the United States of America.

  • @TheRationalRant no i mean't that he said that it was the us. and please don't respond i don't want to have a stupid conversation

  • @fast2ghl dont get so angey dude the same people think aliens built the pyramids, they just dont know what humans can do when we just work hard and have a target.

  • @fast2ghl It's not a matter of believing or not believing...it's a matter of facts, and right now I'm pretty sure that these 'non-believers' are choosing to ignore those facts.

    Probably creationists too...

  • your a tard fool

  • @fast2ghl this is true and i agree with you they should fuck off

  • @fast2ghl its called acting

  • @fast2ghl haha ur so dumb. This is obviously fake. The horrible fake set they used and the terrible acting is a dead give away. Oh and by the way, do flags move when there is no wind? LOL NO. Go get edumicated and get on my level.

  • @fast2ghl dude we have EVIDENCE he didn't land on the moon, first evidence is that there is a shadow, how can there be a shadow if there is no sun or light on the moon? Second, when the american flag was put on the moon, it was waving, there is no wind on the moon so just shut up thinking that you know what you are talking about, idiot you don't know everything so you get mad over like nothing, get a life

  • @MegaDoopTV No light on the moon? Lol? Where are you getting your facts?

  • @MegaDoopTV dude you should watch mythbusters, its dumbed down enough for you to understand it. that particular episode covers the lighting and the flag in a vacuum. do a google search, there appears to be that episode here on youtube, as well you can find it on netflix. They actually show HARD EVIDENCE, like real facts, unlike me saying, i have evidence you are a genius.

  • @fast2ghl thank you! finally another person who thinks the same way!

  • one small step for man....

one........... giant leap for the film industries around the globe

  • ~ MythBusters ~

study their version and bust your own delusions!

  • ONE BIG LIE FOR MANKIND

  • One small step for fraud, one giant leap for gullibility

  • How stupid are people to say it's fake. If Russia was 1st there would be no doubters. This was not just for one country, this was for mankind. Painfully Obvious..

  • @pen24

    Thumbs up!

  • this scares me.. idk why

  • EVERY MOON VIDEO EVER MADE has at least one comment on it about the moon "hoax".

you know, if we have to, we WILL debunk every stupid claim you throw at us. yes, EVERY one. even if it's like exactly a million claims, we will debunk them.

even if we have to account for every photo, every frame of every video, and every word spoken on the moon.

  • a one small step for U.S. - one giant leap for CAPITALISM

this is what it really means

  • I walked on da moon 1ce, FUCKING MOONWALK

  • i herd the lines were " thats one small step for A man, one giant leap for mankind" and he messed up thats whyntheres the pause.

  • @BtoZproductions He didn't mess up, he improvised the line in the build up to the event. During and before the mission he became convinced that the emphasis that NASA and the US government wanted placed on the landing as an achievement for America was wrong, and as such he spoke of mankind. This can be seen first in his famous message during touchdown, when he changed the call sign "Eagle base" to "Tranquillity base". His recognition of all mankind was for me, his greatest achievement.

  • @BtoZproductions That's what he intended to say, but it came off without the a.

  • @BtoZproductions poor neil

  • if you reverse his legendary phrase, you hear ''men never space walk''

  • If we cant get to Mars wth 2010 tech now, what makes people think you could get to the moon with 1960s tech then? Its all fake. A govenment lie. Its not a conspiracy because its just lies. So micheal moore can go @#$! himself.

  • @DudemanClide Your soooo wrong. Mythbusters proved it correct. get your history correct.

  • @DudemanClide

We can get to Mars with 2010 tech. The problem is no-one wants to pay for it.

  • @qarnos lol, you got a point there

  • can som1 plzz rewind niel amstrongs famouse words i want to no wha it sounds like

  • Was that OK, Mr. Spielberg?

  • @onedaywewill hehehe =))....xD...

  • Why you said "infamous" in the description?

  • i doubt many people know this but he planned to say "that's one small step for a man" not "one small step for man" because without the word 'a', man and mankind mean the same thing.

  • @christoban08 Isn't that rather sexist?

  • lieing bastards never set foot on the moon because they are climbing down the ladder on earth!, fucking scumbags.

  • can't you even spell lying right?

  • @Tanisha162 dont talk to californiasam my main man like that!..just be groovy and use some manners you naughty person lol. well thats it from your friendly neighbourhood numberoneimbecile...lolol.

  • 2:23 famous words from neil armstrong!

  • How would a camera survive them conditions?

  • Yes, we don't know what research in any field will yield. We didn't know what researching electricity in the 18th century would yield, either. Or, for that matter, the practical 'use' of studying atmospheric dynamics prior to the discovery of global warming. Should we have stopped researching them, too?

Seeing as NASA's expenditure is far less than that used to produce arms, carpet bombs, and tanks, I think a 'humanitarian' has far bigger things to worry about than 0.8% of the US budget.

  • HELL YEAH

  • I've already posted several reasons why the space program *did* mean something, but you haven't responded. You wouldn't happen to be a collossal troll, now, would you?

  • ...Not to mention the ways that rocket technology aided national security. The CCD tech developed for Hubble is used to scan breast growth biopsies for cancerous growth, for instance. NASA's research also led to the development of various computer technologies; 3d design graphics tech; new water purification tech (RBDU) that's had a tangible effect on developing nations; efficient solar cells; memory foam; firefighting equipment; and land mine removal equipment

  • Well, for a start, it's impossible to determine how useful scientific information will be until it is obtained. We don't know what the research done in the 60s and 70s, and even now, will yield.

You might as well have asked, in the 19th century, why there was so much dicking around with this so-called 'plastic' substance, even though the eventual advantages were not foreseeable.

  • it means if he took one small step, it would mean give humans a massive chunk of info about life in outer space and different chemicals on the moon

  • in the description u said "infamous" when you were refferring to the quote. how is this quote infamous at all? unless ur from russia then i guess it would be bad for them i guess

  • I don't think he knows what infamous means

  • i see....

  • I assume he's referring to the fact Armstrong fluffed it? It's supposed to be "One small step for *a* man, one giant leap for mankind".

  • then it wouldnt sound right

  • It would make sense, though. One small step for man, a giant leap for mankind is self-contradictory. The idea is that an individual has made a single step, that has far-reaching consequences for humanity.

  • yea thats true

  • I wanna become an astronaut.. I hope I will can be like they! It's my dream, to say "One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind"

Love astronomy and astronauts 4ever =P

  • omg there was a ghost hand at 2:20 right when he said

quote:One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind

  • it's not a ghost hand

its his friend's hand that was reflected by the window

  • infamous mean something known for the wrong reason.

how can that phrase be infamous jackass

  • Good luck Mr. Gorsky

  • Why would those words be infamous???

  • Are you kidding me ?

All that this represents, the technological achivements of mankind.

    It's boring ?

  • I'm up for a U.S. military base on the moon, I wounder how many people and countries on earth would be Pissed about that hahaha.

  • What blows me away is that this was all done way back in the late 60s when computers were less powerful than todays handheld calculators. If I'm not mistaken Apollo 11's landing guidance computer the total amount of RAM memory available was 3840 bytes, 69120 bytes of ROM, and the processor maxed out at around 85,000 instructions per second.

  • @fivecougarsoz I think it was 2K of RAM and 32K of ROM. The memory was ferrite core rings (very small iron rings). There is an emulator available now days and someone has ported all the code. Its well worth reading as it is some of the best commented code in history and a testament to the guys who wrote it. Basically they wrote a whole fault tolerant operating system as well as the command code.

  • how??

  • fuckin mystification

  • america f22 bush f16 americans the best mcdonalds microsoft bush

  • why have they not gone back ??? with todays technology??

  • Because it's useless?

They're more focused on mars right now.

  • why not the ocean? we only know 10% of it.

  • Because its still quite dangerous, and they have to put mirrors and shit on the moon for measurements and such.

  • Because it's not scientifically beneficial , it's extremely expensive and we've learned almost everything worth knowing about the moon, that can be learned by moonwalks.

NASA is currently planning a return to the moon in around 2020, for the purpose of training for a mission to Mars and putting up a permanent base there.

  • they did go back dude. 1969-1972 there were six missions after apollo 11.

  • Well only five actually made it to the moon, Apollo 13 had to return to earth before landing on the moon

  • Oops.. I backtracked a little... I think you meant 5 after apollo 11...

    You're right :)

  • Just think of the money involved in being able to discredit the moon landings. Maybe 40 years time wasn't long enough for any NASA folks to think about saying something. The rock samples obtained from the lunar surface are also universally acknowledged to be non-terrestrial, and their composition is identical to samples returned from unmanned Soviet missions. But still, never mind all of that. You might be able to reproduce this footage on earth, so the landings were of course faked...lol

  • If you really believe the moon landings to have been faked simply by watching the footage, it goes without saying that you're an idiot.

If the moon landings were faked, why didn't the Soviet Union dispute the validity of the missions? Why did every single person with involvement in Apollo keep quiet over 40 years? (some 400,000 people) Why did we "fake" 8 additional moon landings? All of the USSR working with the US government and NASA during the height of the cold war to cover this up huh?

  • because you touch yourself at night

  • haha Well I guess I'd expect someone with that kind of response to believe that the landings were faked.

  • The recently restored footage blows this "over the shoulder" of the TV screen stuff all away..

BTW- Read or see "The Dish" for the straight story on where the signal was picked up.. IN AUSTRALIA!!

    J.C.

  • This footage was amazng, I wish I can one day live during an historic moment like that..maybe landing on Mars.

  • 2:22

  • he was suppose to say 'one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind'

  • Comment removed

  • This is so cool. The conspiracy theorist totally ruin alot of this though. Most of the stuff they use to disprove it can be reproduced here on earth(the camera and stars bit) as far as the science is concerened.

  • dude its been photoshopped

  • yes yes on photoshop1969 yes yes I see now.

    Douchebag...

  • its "one small step for A man, one giant leap for mankind"

  • no its not. he was supposed to say that, but he didn't. Besides one small step for man is alot more poetic, and better reflects the greatness of the event.

  • speechless

  • This footage still gives me goose bumps. Simply stellar.

  • 5 STARS!

    nice job.

  • Good luck, Mister Gorsky. :).

  • Absolutely ignorant. Don't believe conspiracy stories.
