I just bought some 769s, and did 2k on the shop's treadmill in these and Kayanos. The extra width offered by the NBs did it for me. I'll see how they shape up when I hit the streets tomorrow.
Just bought some of these today. Even after trying on the more expensive 1124 and 859 the 769 were just the most comfortable. Great for those with slightly lower arches.
New Balances in general are great shoes especially for running and working out in, not to mention they last a ling time.
