All I ask is what makes Christianity a lie? Is it your opinion? What if your opinion isn't the truth? I never debate over my beliefs and I never condemn others for there beliefs. I would just like for someone to really answer the questions with out going on a rant.

They played this today in church. I agree that lusting for power, wealth, fame, drugs, exploitative sex, etc are sneaky, unhealthy obsessions that destroy individuals & creations. BUT I find it disturbing that this "Christian" video does not offer their rather obvious alternative/solution. It's incompleteness makes it just another shock video- a chance for the huffy & grumpy to gasp at pictures of the red carpet or boys getting married. Gawkers & the judgmental are hearing the same lullaby?

The only reason this is supposed to work is because we naturally see Satan as 'bad' and Jesus as 'good'. Amazingly it manages to cast wealth and joy in a bad light without giving any reasoning whatsoever.

It is traditional to call earthly glory a sin because it means that the peasant classes will be less keen to rise up and take what they deserve. It's a ploy to keep the simple minded in line.

Today, all it serves to do is keep us guilty of our most mundane desires.

This video does little to show love. It does much to condemn and judge. How could anyone turn away from evil if they do not yet know how GREAT the love Jesus has for them? WHY would they? People must first turn to Jesus, come to know him and just how much he loves them. Don't we realize that we are supposed to be the ones SHOWING the love of Christ? That is what turns people to Christ, not condemnation.

Read 1Jo2:1 and notice the words So that YOU MAY NOT SIN and If anyone sins... When a person is saved by the grace of God they have power over sin. Romans 7 is talking about a man who is living according the law of Moses, not faith in Jesus Christ. Read Rom 7:17-18, then go to Rom 6:6-13, 18, 20, 22. You will see that the natures in Rom 7 and Rom 6 are different. I am no longer a slave to sin! I DONT HAVE TO SIN, A believer in Jesus Christ has authority over sin!
