I once owned a Yiddie puppie like that. When he was disobedient, I'd punish him by locking him in a room full of chopped liver with not one single piece of matzoh in sight. I know that was the ultimate torture, but at least it cured him.

Dear wiesje, have you forgotten our rich tradition of humor, even in the darkest of times? Our people were liberated centuries ago, and yet, we have never truly been liberated. And so, we must continue to laugh, a little harder than the rest. As long as Jews are Jews, the story of our existence will always be told with equal parts solemnity and humor. Our survival counts on it.
