  • @filipemtx This alg doesn't work for me.

  • Hi dudemanpp

Thank you for your tutorials. I really appreciate that it.

I'm new at this and I don't understand why you say U2 at time 0:50 when the text says Ui? And what do the brackets mean?

    Again thank you

  • @therigidrook Thank you for your kind words. I said U2 in the video because it's actually U2. The algorithm just denotes it as U' U' which is U2.

As for the brackets, they are guidelines as to what moves should be done in one motion. Other than that they mean nothing.

  • what does it mean if the letter's are in brackets?

  • you can solve the second algorithm in the same way of the first! the only thinghs you must do is solve with left hand

  • yeah you can .. :D its probably faster too..(but remember to Y2 the cube..) and the algs in this vid arent soo good.. for j A use : R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U'

  • what the brackets mean!

  • the brackets are for timing. Some people call them triggers.

Everything in between bracket can be grouped into a single fast combo.

Like when you look up a word in the dictionary they have a pronunciation. The brackets tell other people which sequences the writer considers one swift combo

  • what is the meaning of the J perm?

  • R U R' F' (R U R' U') R' F (R2 U' R' U')

I just find it a lot easier to trigger when it's 3-gen with F instead of L.

  • the first one is (R U Ri Fi), the the t perm, well thats how i remember

  • ya thats wat i use too

  • me too

  • I learned all my plls from you man! THANKS>

  • i might be wrong, but isnt one called J and one called L?

  • I'm basing it on the way that Jessica Fridrich named them. You may call them something else.

  • alright

  • @philliesrule3690 yea thats what i call it i got my pll from Lance

  • for the second case, why dont you just do the reflection of the first one?

  • For me, it isn't as fast. I don't like too many L moves.

  • you can then rotate it 180 degrees to make them R moves.

  • @dudemanpp wat do u mean by ( ) using parenthesis

  • @xlazmlx That means that you can use a finger trick for the moves inside. An exaple would be (R U R')

  • i do the reflection of the j perm for the second one.

  • what do the paranthesis mean in the algorithms?

  • what the... you said U' and you move it to the left... and another U' then you moved it to the right??? how can i determine that U' have 2 direction??

  • I have no idea what you are talking about.

  • look at your moves in the first cube.. you said.. R then U2' (you moved the upper cube clockwise)then R' then U'(you moved the upper cube counterclockwise)....

  • U2 means twice. U' means counterclockwise.

  • you mean U2' is clockwise even though it has a prime??

  • did you get my point now? when it is U2' you moved the cube clockwise then when U' you moved it counterclockwise... then U' you moved it clockwise then U (without prime) you moved it clockwise too...

  • U2 is the same move CW or CCW. It Doesn't matter. U is CW U' is CCW.

  • ok i get it.. maybe next time dont put a prime on it so it is not confusing... you mean that if it is U2 it can be CW or CCW because it will be in the same position.. thanks!

  • i know what you mean. when he puts a prime symbol (') after a U2 move, or any "2" move, he just means that's the way you should spin it so that you can have a smoother transition, do finger tricks.

  • like the way he does the U2

  • favorite and fastest alg for me! You do the inverse of me.

  • Very good
