This is very good.. Thanks man.. Using the q tips is less messier and cleaner. I always hated it when I polish my snaps and some bits of the polish touches the leather around the snaps... Looks like this method prevents less polish from touching the leather.. Would try this next time.. Now i have to get some clear nail polish..
handy tip Dan, What about the plates, how do you clean your plates (obviously not Brasso, Macho Man showed us what happens when you do that.) My Loomis BG needs some sprucing up.
@Hazardf5 Use ammonia free glass cleaner. Over a long time, windex or ammonia based cleaners will make the plates cloudy. I recommend HOT water, and a 3m microfiber lens cloth. NOT one with lens cleaner on it. Just the regular microfiber cloth.
