exact thing happened to me, how long does it take to grow back? mine fell off like 2 months ago.

It took about 6 months for the whole process (falling off, growing back, and getting back to "normal".

If I remember correctly it took a few months before the nail started to grow back. It typically takes 6 or more months for a nail to grow back.  There is a chance if the nail bed was damaged that the nail wont grow back, but in most cases it will.
