@laughingman6 stop being a troll while his technique in you opinion was not good the sound, intonation and ensemble was perfect. Very entertaining congrats and nice job on writing a good tuba part from the piano accompaniment.
this is AWESOME! could you pleasepleaseplease send me a copy of the flute and tuba parts? that would be so amazing! it looks fun and challenging :) let me know! k thanks

That was great. I'd love to hear a piccolo take of the same thing. The flute was perfect, but piccolo would be so over the top. Great job; I'm going to hit replay. Thanks.
@Sk1nnyV1nny22 Actually, it's arrangement that my friend on the tuba did from a flute and piano part, but I agree the piece works very well on flute and tuba! :)
Many times a bass trombone player will puff their cheeks as well in the lower register. And his fingering is a matter of preference. He is an accomplished enough player that I am sure he knows how to play his horn. I think some folks need to be practicing their horns instead of picking on others performance.
Actually, I was replying to you. You are the one who said tuba is the only exception right? I was replying to others as well who claim they know all. No I do not have a problem with you, the comment was meant for those "picking on others performance." You were not doing such. I think it was nice of you to point out that others were wrong for saying he was a bad player because of the cheek puff. You play the baritone? Keep it up. one of the best things you can do with you life in my opinion.
@suicidalantII7 what's wrong with puffing cheeks? whats wrong with sloppy fingering? Heck he can play lying down for all I care, he has great tone and agility. If you think brass players who puff their cheeks are amateurs, go see Dizzy Gillespie play his trumpet

Tuba and the flute require the most air to play. RANDOM FACT OF THE DAY!

I want to write a composition for flute and tuba. The two are very hard to match together just right, but Mancini and Galway sure nailed it here.

the tuba play "not trying to be an ass" was puffing his cheeks and his fingering is bad
suicidalantII7 2 years ago
accualy tuba is allowed to puff ur cheeks out if u dont it sounds to small and tuba is the only exception not for any other instrument
