accualy tuba is allowed to puff ur cheeks out if u dont it sounds to small and tuba is the only exception not for any other instrument

Many times a bass trombone player will puff their cheeks as well in the lower register. And his fingering is a matter of preference. He is an accomplished enough player that I am sure he knows how to play his horn. I think some folks need to be practicing their horns instead of picking on others performance.

Actually, I was replying to you. You are the one who said tuba is the only exception right? I was replying to others as well who claim they know all. No I do not have a problem with you, the comment was meant for those "picking on others performance." You were not doing such. I think it was nice of you to point out that others were wrong for saying he was a bad player because of the cheek puff. You play the baritone? Keep it up. one of the best things you can do with you life in my opinion.

@suicidalantII7 what's wrong with puffing cheeks? whats wrong with sloppy fingering? Heck he can play lying down for all I care, he has great tone and agility. If you think brass players who puff their cheeks are amateurs, go see Dizzy Gillespie play his trumpet
