I don't like this movie, it's too "Tim Burtonesque".

the first movie was a fucking masterpiece and one of the best movies ever, but this sequel is not interesting, the penguin is not like the comics and too "sad". catwoman is boring and the way she born in the movie is really ridiculous. and batman does nothing, we never see him, honestly this movie is just a deception.

yeah, I know: michael keaton does not wanted to be in front off the camera as long as the first movie but this is lame.

Batman Returns had a Happy Meal toy line when the film was first released. McDonalds later commented that if they had known that the film was so dark and violent, they would not have signed on for the toy line.

McDonalds had a huge marketing tie in with the film, but b/c Batman Returns was so dark and messed up, kids got the crap scared out of them and parents were angry! McDonalds took a lot of heat for selling batman returns happy meal toys as a result!
