zayed bhai believe me u have no knowledge of history who told u that original punjabis are sikhs. sikhism originated in early 16th century where as islam was introduced in the subcontinent in 8th century. bulleh shah was an inspiration for the guru of sikhs and bulleh shah ofcourse was a Muslim. whether siraiki is a punjabi dialect or punjabi is a siraiki dialect, both languages have too much in common.

Punjab is believed to be the venue of some of the epic events in Hindu Mythology described in Mahabharta. This great land we call Punjab is too old and too diverse to be owned by a single nation. It is so old the even homo Sapiens can not claim to be the only hominids to have thrived here. Long live mother Punjab and its holy soil that feeds us.

@yousafzia my family hails from DI Khan in Pakistan. I hate it when people say Saraiki is a Punjabi dialect. Its is a completely separate language. Believe me I grew up listening to Saraiki and Hindko(while living in India) from parents and grand parents.
