No greedy bankers bankrupted Britain and the rest of the world, politicians of all parties didn't help much and still aren't by kissing the bankers asses and still allowing them and other fat cats to get massive bonuses, while the rest of us suffer.
get out of england you foreign one eyed stuttering in breed of a man! this man is an asshole he's done his best to plunder as much wealth out of england and into scotland if this reflects how the way he feels he should of just given the all of us including the scotts a EU/UK membership refferendom! nothing wrong with scotts wanting to leave the UK if thats what they want they should push for that not our cash! and stay out of westminster
Debt, tax, waste lies and spin. Vandalised pensions. Mass uncontrolled immigration. Pubic debt that will last for generations. Massive public spending cuts. A ruined economy. Pointless wars. Muslims fasicst terrorism on our streets. Eroded civil liberties. This bastard was the worst PM in history. He should be executed.
He needed to go, but I'm sad to see him go. I don't derive my opinion of what constitutes respectability/charisma from either the Daily Mail or Heat magazine. He was an exceptional chancellor and the world economic crisis was not his fault.. indeed he was the guy who got all the world leaders together in London and led the way.
I accept he wasn't a bad man but the party needed to do far more about narrowing the wealth gap as that is destroying this country. If the Tories/Libs are introducing a cut in tax for the poorer why couldn't labour have done it? Also, the Tories are upping capital gains to 40%, to be honest Labour should have been doing the same instead of lowering it. Don't get me wrong I'm no Tory but I expected so much more from Labour, its a shame they didn't listen and sided with with the rich.
I'm absolutely gutted! Gordon Brown was a decent, honourable and principled man who never seemd to get the credit he deserved. It is ironic that the damage caused to this country by the last Tory administration has been forgotten, yet all the good and well intentioned policies of the last Labour administration have been so easily forgotten... Thank you Mr Brown for your service, and God help us all now that you've gone!
Unfortunately, the three main parties are very much from the same mould. There are a few MPs who have good intentions (from all three parties) but they are usually kept in the background so not to rock the boat. The Liberal Democrats have yet to prove themselves as a political party but I'm sure they will show their true colours in time. ID cards anyone? As for Cameron and the Conservative Party...God help us all!
I am proud to have voted for the first time last Thursday and my [X] was a strong one for Labour, I am a working class person, and agree totally with the views, policies and opinions that the Labour Party have. I think it's a great shame that Mr. Brown has gone. He waited many years for his chance to shine and he happened to step into the spotlight and get the opportunity when there was a mess in Iraq and the country was in a downward spiral with the recession. A good, honest man.

The infamous Castro phrase seems to be suitable for Brown- "History will Absolve me"
