  • I see someone else mentioned Yikes, Slough - top night and top tune and takes me right back there - classic eighties old skool. I'm now 46 and this makes me all the way back. Spaghetti western house!

  • okay, bringing over to the NYC side, I was just a kid when I first heard this... the beat is just so ill and brings back the best memories. To mention, my little brother who passed away recently... we both loved this.

  • this was a big tune in the man alive club with nipper and the spin masters, any one remember the man alive in manchester????

  • probably the best intro in the fuckin universe.....

  • @bumpyjason Nah ... probably best synth lead in the universe :)

  • @TuffLittleunit Does anyone know what Ennio Morricone soundtrack the lead synth line is from is it from "For A Few Dollars More" maybe? PS Another bit of the tune seems to be based on a bit from 'Forever Autumn' by Justin Hayward (off 'War of the Worlds') if i'm not mistaken.

  • @ancientraver19881989 Yes it's a riff from For a Few Dollars More (just watched the film on Youtube!) - making it one of the greatest dance tunes of all time (Ennio would be proud I'm sure!)

  • Best tune ever!! Was in San Antonio when ifirst heard it. Rockin in Es Paradise...... What a summer

  • @JordanKissane hate to admit it but i'm 48, best dance tune ever. got the '92 todd terry remix (new version & original) on white promo, is it worth anythin does anyone know?

  • First heard this in Bentleys Rochdale. Proper old skool

  • im guessing everyone that has commented on here is in (at least) their late 30's early 40's and feeling guilty about saying the youth of today dont know what good times they missed and how nuthin original is coming out these days...although im lovin the UK dubstep scene right now and my daughter isnt old enough yet to be embarrased of my old school dance moves

  • This track used to make me crazy Lil Louie Vega would spin this at Hearthrobs on 26th street between 10th and 11th Aves in NYC in 1987

  • Love this tune. Dancing to it at sunrise on the roof of a snooker club whilst the 5-0 ran around outside still up there with all those convoys...

  • You missed out the Club Havana...legendary club...pretty unknown outside of Middlesbrough...was a dangerous joint, but loved it for the same reason...

  • Amazing how music can take u back... listen to this and close my eyes and I could be 18 again in Walkers nightclub in Newcastle, dancing, hot, sweaty, listening to my mates ask me if i'm 'up' yet, getting home at maybe 6 or 7am Sunday, drinking a litre of water & sleeping the whole day... ahh those were the days

  • thunderdome best bar none

  • did you know this comes from the film For A Few Dollars More

  • no this comes from a dream of a few dollars more..

keep da faith dreaming the dreams of the dream, upwards n onwards..till i die

  • Actually whilst this is a fantastic tune, todd terry's roots have always been hip hop. he is a bit of a jive bunny cut and paste artist and you'll find this is ripped from babe ruth - the mexican. early arthur baker remixed stuff. and that's not the original or only version. Find that out for yourselves.

  • car'nt mak tunes like this anymore todd terry legend and you car'nt make them pills like they did then.. cali's,dove's china whites, yellow burgers white burgers..propor pill's makes me won't 2 do 1 now

  • Great version. I use to have this in my crate. Funny thing is I didnt know Todd Terry's nickname was Orange Lemon. I use to hear him dj live@studio 54 in Manhattan,NY back in 87-88 where this would play on reel-to-reel and it didnt even come yet. The dj's booth was exposed basically so you could see, if I recall.
