It's not like Neighborhoods didn't debut as number 1 in the US top 40. Blink still has a great sound which is one of the reasons why they can still sell so well (another reason is because of their devoted fan circles) but lyrically their songs aren't half as good as they were on Take Off Your Pants & Jacket.

Accually, I listened to the song with a metronome the, Travis kept the beat, 200 BPM, the only time he wasn't in time was during his drum ending, but you don't need to keep the quater note to be in time, there are such things are eight notes, 16th notes, they can be played without the down beat, which may sound like speeding up to untrained ears, when you are still keeping tempo. But hey, I'm just a bassist and a drummer, so what do I know about keeping time.
