Mark Sanford would still be in the candidates list for the 2012 Presidential Election had it not been for his infidelity scandal with his mistress, Maria Belen Chapur, in Argentina.
In my opinion, South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford should run for President of the United States in the 2012 Election. The details about his private life are irrelevant...what matters most is Sanford's desire for reforming the U.S. Government system and liberate politicians from bureaucracy that is imposed against their own will. It's time for Sanford to give the U.S. Congress a wake-up call for change in the country.
Nope. This man abused and broke the trust of the people of SC by abandoning his post to chase some Latin Floozie in South bloody America. Furthermore, he did so deceitfully, by not telling anyone his real destination, and instead, lied to his wife, staff, and constituents about his true intentions.
This man is unfit to hold the position of dog catcher.
He voted to impeach a former president for the same kind of infraction he, himself committed.
No one is immune to celebrity scandals, not even Mark Sanford. If he makes mistakes like these, then he should deal with them immediately. I would rather see Mark Sanford go to Buenos Aires to buy lavish gifts for his wife, Jenny Sanford, than to see his mistress, Maria Belen Chapur. Then things would be different for him. I am aware of his mistakes, but that doesn't change my admiration for him.
Speaking of Buenos Aires and Galerias Pacifico, I've read articles about them on the Internet.
Some politicians are acting like that, and mistakes like infidelity happens to them all the time. That would put them under legal and media scrutiny once they become leaders. Sanford has been caught in the middle of this political circus imposed against the U.S. Government.
You are entitled to your own opinion about Mark Sanford, and I am entitled to mine. I understand that what Mark Sanford did is wrong, and I acknowledge that.
Gov. Sanford is the man. He's a real non-intrusive, non-interventionist conservative. Ok Huckabee and Brownback good call Mercurio. The only one perfect candiate is Gov. Sanford. Take on the idealogue Obama and his 'liberal' hack supportors in Congress and the media.
1 month ago, I was let go from my job after 16 yrs. & 4 mos. I am a South Carolina resident that is looking for work in the following counties: Aiken, Edgefield, Greenwood, Lexington, Newberry & Saluda. I am a 45 yr. old white male, Navy veteran & American Legion member. I am a hard worker & I don't believe in sitting on my rear collecting a check. If anyone can aid in my quest, I would be greatful. Either reply or call 864-554-0517 or 864-445-8545. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks.
Mike Huckabee never had a chance. Huckabee only "outlasted" Romney because he stayed in long after it was impossible to win. Romney could have held out longer if he wanted to, but it would have been hard for him to over take McCain in a long drawn out primary race. Huckabee on the other hand had no real chance of winning after McCain took off and Rudy dropped out. If McCain and Romney were more or less like Obama and Hillary, then Huckabee is John Edwards. A distant 3rd with no real chance.

That may be fine for you, but not me.

This man broke a Sacred Vow to his wife, broke a Solemn Oath to the people of SC, and broke trust with the RNC.
What else has he lied about, covered up, or tried to INTENTIONALLY mislead the public about?
This is a man who wanted to bring down the POTUS for the same crime, yes, CRIME, he, himself committed.
And that doesn't smack of hypocrisy to you?
THAT is the kind of leader the nation needs?????
I DON'T THINK SO.

Look, infidelity is not simply a "mistake". It is a willful act of breaking a sacred vow.
Spin it all you want, it's just putting lipstick on a pig.
And it calls into question his reliability as a truthful, honest, forthright person, which is what we NEED from people in positions of authority.
Sheeesh.

Oh, and there ARE people who are immune from celbreity scandals: Those whose behavior is upright, honorable and beyond reproach.
Mark Sanford is NOT in that category. He is a LIAR. A CHEAT. A thoroughly dishonorable man.
