  • Classic...Best pathos and humor combined.Makes me sad to see it when Christmas is far away though.

  • Well, Ralph's got you there Alice: "You're the one who can't be trusted. You said you were going upstairs."

That said, it made people laugh, but I don't admire Alice for setting the mousetrap. That was rather indecent. If Ralph had done that to her, everyone would have screamed he was abusive.

  • I love this show. Unlike most actors and actresses today, these four had talent---and no egos. It's truly amazing that the Honeymooners still have such a strong following---by both young and old alike. I guess people know quality when they see it.

  • Norton's reaction when he finds the drip pan under the icebox is perfect...so Norton!

  • actually if you can find all the lost episodes, which most or all are posted on Youtube... it is pretty much 2 seasons worth .. not to mention the later tv movies

  • she keeps her oranges in the freezer ???

  • This is my FAVORITE of all the HONEYMOONERS!

  • ACCURIST CHRONOGRAPH 9.58 W R 100M10:24

  • I Have All The Episodes Its Just A Shame They Didnt Make a second Season!...I Grew Up watching the honeymooners and Its sad to see theyre all but one of them are dead...I Still Watch Them TO This Very DAy And Fall asleep to them and even know wht theyre doing as they talk...I Was So Sickened When They Came Out With This Shitty Movie "The Honeymooners"...What Assholes Leave The Classics ALONE! (:

  • The shows these days are good, too, you old fogies!!!! Not to denegrate the Mooners...my personal favorite.

  • @unclebobunclebob Yeah they're alright but no where near the same substance!! All people are saying is sex, drugs and homosexuality isn't the only way to make t.v sitcoms!!

  • Thanks for uploading, Christmasfellow2008

  • NORTON: (looking at the mousetrap) Oh, that;s a BEAUTY!

  • @joeypolanski isn't that hilarious HAHA. him thinking the gift is the drip pan is just as funny too. "OOOOOooh-OOH! That is beeyootifull Ralph!"

  • Then Ed thinks Ralph gave her a mousetrap! Damn this show is soooo funny. How come nobody can write stuff like this today?

  • Ain't ya got nothin' for me?

  • My grand parents were a heck of a lot like this. My Granpa came from Brooklyn and my Grandma from Manhatten. The used to "alledgedly" go off on each other. Yet come the end of the day there was always a gentle kiss. The Honeymooners remind me of those times and the generation that gave all from nothing.

  • One of the funniest shows..

  • All over this site, I am reading posts by people who hate the way that TV is nowadays! It is amazing! I will agree that it was much better once upon a time. One type of show that really seems to take a rap is reality shows. Wow!

  • My old History Professor was actually in the audience when they aired this. How lucky. Something he said he'd never forget. The Honeymooners are the best!!!

  • I BET HIS GIFT IS NOT FROM CHINA,AMERICAN MADE BACK THEN ALL THE WAY,HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL 2010!!!!!!

  • THIS IS AWESOME,UNLIKE TODAY'S SO CALLED "REALITY SHOWS" WHICH SUCK!!!!!!!

  • This is the first time I have ever saw this episode. When that rat trap snapped at

06;12, & he came out of the bedroom in pain, I got on the floor and rolled.

    Great stuff.

  • STILL THINK ALL IN THE FAMILY IS FUNNER LOL....THIS IS TOO SIMPLISTIC FOR MY MIND...NEED MORE INTRICACIES....WAS NY AT THE END THO LOL...

  • Just in case people are wondering still what "spats" are..... they cover your foot almost like a sock with no toes. But they go on the outstide of the pants. They wrap around your leg and button up on the side. Werid, huh? They are actually from the 1800's I think! Don't know how else to describe them, but I TRIED!! ;0)

  • @Bobbytoo

I was, in fact, wondering what spats were! Thank you for taking that load off of my mind!

  • i just love this show its great and jackie gleason is such a funny guy so is art carney they use to have it on austar (pay tv) but they took it off such a great show thumbs up

  • @ smartboy8877---spats were leather covers that buttoned over the shoe, kind of like wwII combat boot uppers-supposed to keep the ankes warm

  • love this my favorite...

  • The first one my dad showed me and to this day i watch this show with my dad

thanks dad for hooking me on a great show

  • I love this.

  • Everything Norton sees is beauty LOL

  • I used to only watch I Love Lucy but know i just started watching this as well. What is the real name of the woman who plays the main character`s wife? I just started getting into this so i don`t know.

  • Does anyone have any idea what spats are?

  • What was it that Ed gave to Ralph?

  • Do any of you chicago people remember the honeymooner playing every night at 9;30 on channel 32? i always tried to watch!!

  • I wasn't born when this was on tv, so it is like something new to me, and much better than the nothing but reality shows that are on now, who gives a crap about these "nothings" who have reality shows, the real housewives of hell is what they should be called absolute shit.

  • I always loved this episode. one of the infamous Classic 39

  • so funny, every time, all the laughs in the same places for fifty, years on and i still laugh every time like i never saw it before

  • I watched all the episodes, best show ever ! Theres also polish version.I really enjoyed it .

  • This episode is one of the funniest, watch this episode every Christmas...for the past 40 years! No sit-com today can compare to the Honeymooners. Goes to show you don't need to pay actors millions and use profanity and sex to make a GREAT show. Those were the"good ole days", NEVER to be repeated...sad.

  • You said it brother.

  • @5thSSVikingDiv Boy do I have agree 100% on that! I hate to see how things are going to be in another 50 years.

  • @5thSSVikingDiv I totally AGREE. It is VERY sad!!! Sin reigns. It sells. SAD!!

  • @5thSSVikingDiv Audrey Meadows made millions, she took a points on the back end rather than a salary. And obviously so did Gleason.

  • @5thSSVikingDiv You are 100% right.......This is the best sit-com in tv history period!

  • @5thSSVikingDiv to a certain extent I agree with you that today it is mostly about jokes with a double meaning which very often are about sex and another thing is that in that time the laughs were real people

  • My little brother and I watched this every year growing up. Still try to when we find it. Thank God for YouTube!

  • pure magic*

  • "Pay no attention to him...he's a nut" I've seen this episode at least a hundred times, and it still cracks me up.
