The biggest mistake Bill made was marrying Hillary, who is clearly a lesbian. @SatwaMan I disagree. The invasion of Iraq probably saved the dollar from complete collapse. In 2000 Iraq started to trading oil in the more profitable euros instead of dollar. A few other OPEC countries, most notibly Iran and Venezular showed interest in doing the same. If this had happen the demand for dollars in the world would have plummeted.
After the US invaded Iraq they immediately changed back to trading Iraqi oil in the less profitable dollar.

Without all that stuff, Clinton would have been a pretty decent president, and I didn't even vote for him. The 2 trillion dollar Iraq war caused the meltdown.
I saw it coming a mile away. That money would have been spent in economy instead of useless war. Even though Bush/Cheney tried to hide the trillions being spent on Iraq, and did not account for it, it still was the thing that undermined the ecoomny. There would still have been a recession, but nothing to write home about.

@SatwaMan I disagree. The invasion of Iraq probably saved the dollar from complete collapse. In 2000 Iraq started to trading oil in the more profitable euros instead of dollar. A few other OPEC countries, most notibly Iran and Venezular showed interest in doing the same. If this had happen the demand for dollars in the world would have plummeted.
After the US invaded Iraq they immediately changed back to trading Iraqi oil in the less profitable dollar.
