Hey Doug, thanks so much for everything you do to get music out there and help people learn! There are so few good resources for intermediate players looking to learn jazz, and your videos are great!
Hola saludos me podras hacer el favor de darme una ayuda con el piano jazz sobre unas progresiones de acordes alterados si esta a tu alcance para ponerlos en practica ayudame un abrazo.. tremendos videos
u are awesome man, thank you for all your posts, seriuosly, i like ir when great
musicians also try to teach other ones and u are doing an awesome job, every1 can learn a lot from your vids, seriously you are like a jamey aebersold 2 :D
This is unbelievable, this is way better than going to a jazz teacher in a tiny little room...this is ACE. You could get 90% or your jazz education right here.
Your tutorials are fantastic! This is really valuable stuff and I really appreciate you putting it out there. I've recently started learning jazz piano. I'm using the "Real Book" and the "Jazz Piano Book" by M. Levine, & records and am pluggin away at it. I was taking lessons for a bit. They were very useful, but at $50.00 an hour I couldn't afford to go for long. But, now. Watching these, I'm totally inspired. I gotta go apply some of the stuff I just saw / heard you do.
I think the notation and the computer generated piano view are more or less OK. The low quality video is slightly out of sync perhaps. Thanks for your comment though.
I checked again now, and seems to be perfectly in sync. :) Don't know what happened the last time. Again, great video. I watch and learn a lot from you.
Bravo!

that 'wrong note' might have been a mistake, but it certainly wasn't wrong... it's quite possibly the best part of this!
Epic stuff

Hey mate. It seems the video isn't in sync with the audio when watching it in HD mode. :( Great video still. :)
