  • EN TODAS LAS AEROLINEAS DELMUNDO LES PAGAN MUY POCO TIENEN UN UN MAL SUELDO....Y ES MUCHO TRABAJO EN LOS VUELOS...

  • why did i watch this

  • Flight attendants are sometimes mean and nasty because they are tired of their jobs...But I guess no one likes that...

  • Flight attendants should be young, attractive, fit women only.

  • i love my job :-) that is all that I can say.

  • night? weekends? holidays?....aww screw that!

  • It must be very rewarding to be a Denny's waitress at 30,000 feet.

  • @MrTruthBeTold51 idiot..

  • I want to be a flight attendant and I am male, but I hate that image people have about a male attendant being gay.... =( It discourages me..

  • @GiuseppeMendolini Worrying about what other people think of you is a horrible way to live. If you wanna be a flight attendant, then just go for it.

  • If you're a non-hetero male...or a heavy set or older women, do not expect the captain or co-pilot to like you as a flight attendant. I know.... I don't.

  • 37k a year wow thats nort much

  • @tripleguy031 No it's not much if you're working a 40 hour week, but when you're only working about 12-13 days a month...well, do the math.

  • Do you have to be a social person to be a flight attendant?

  • Mr.Mepon must have some serious fucked up issues, why did he have to let the world know that he was not GAY, what a fucking idiot. grow up you moron. and who cares if you are Heterosexual. grow Up

  • I've been an FA for a year and 5 months now. I work for a small company called Compass who is owned by Trans States Holdings and they contract our flying through Delta. i knew the pay was terrible when I signed on but I though it would get better. it doesn't. Right now it caps at 24 an hour. And that's only when the door is closed. Per diem is only 1.63. Which barley covers lunch at the airport. i want to fly for a company that cares...

  • i am an air attendant with aerlingus and i am doing the shannon/dublin at times to boston and or new york its a great job and iv been a flightattendant since i was 19. and im 22 now and i am not gay

  • @duncan7599 not true some of them are

  • Flight attendant job is indeed a glam job mostly in Asia and the Middleast. are well paid and well loked after in these parts of the world, unlike US and Europe.

Have been an FA for 19yrs in Asia/Mideast and loving it. So glad I picked this lovely job, but must admit its not easy as it may appear.

    Long live Cabin crew!

  • "...be able to keep your weight in per proportion to your height"

    NO FAT CHICKS

  • @heyfkidsm well I wasnt talking to you, but I thought that person I was replying to was referring to being too old. I was saying you are never too old to do what you want in life.Yes, some take 18 year olds and others take 21 ond older. It depends on the airline.

  • @heyfkidsm well I wasnt talking to you, but I thought that person I was replying to was referring to being too old. Yes, some take 18 year olds and others take 21 ond older. It depends on the airline.

  • héh_àñY_gúÿs_wÀnt_to_chát_wíth_me

  • I wish I was 20........I wouldn't hesitate to go ahead with this beautiful, exciting job. Congratulations, all flight attendants!

  • @adalbertomodesusa You don't have to be 20 to become a Flight Attendant. You can be any age over 21. idk how old you are, but don't sell your life short if its what you want to do.

  • @Mssbmill But some airlines accept people that are only 18. Some only require a high school diploma. I'm not planning to just do high school though... I want to have the college experience.

  • @heyfkldsm

    I was 18 when I started international flying :-)).

  • @TempusIC nice :)

  • just waitress in the sky,to some asspect we are we are also incharge of saftey, we have a lot of responsablity to alcaim for, if somthing goes wrong its down to us to solve. We are there not just to serve, but to mke sure you get from A to B saftley.

We are trained first aiders, fire fighters and everything else inbetween its took a lot of hard work and dedication to become one and you are always learning!

were there to save your ass not kiss it.

  • come on man. .they are just waitress in the sky

  • @crumcon I doubt you'll be saying that when you're plumating to the ground or you have a heart attack on board, and that "waitress" just happens to save your life.

Anyways, a waitress can call the police if theres a fight, she can call an ambulance if someone falls seriously ill, she can call the firebrigade if theres a fire and if something does happen, all she has to do is follow everyone out the door.. F/A's are on their own up there xox

  • is it gay to be a flight attendant

  • @braydenpope NO do not stop your dreams of fear of being gay. I am a STRAIGHT male in Australia and just became a flight attendant, 6 boys in my class- 3 straight- 3 gay. The rest BEAUTIFUL girls. So do what you want, and dont care what people say okay!?

  • I couldn't handle memorizing all those drink orders what do have to do write out the seat numbers then write out Coke, Juice, Coffee???? I have always wondered how all that works!

  • gay men have found their niche in the airline industry

  • Do research that's a stewards uniform.

  • This video is great! Yes being a flight attendant is not as glamorous as it looks. It's a hard job.

  • The people that hire flight attendants are company HR people that would rather hire for the job than ever do it.They know only what they read on a sheet and then dream up some questions that have little to do with the position.

  • i am gonna be a flight attendant!!!!!!!!!!!!! for the rest of my life!!! : )) well i want to lol

  • @Leilahorsey123 How old are you? Im 18 and i really really really want to be a Flight Attendants too.

I'm a little scared because i really dont know what im getting myself into but its what i want to do. Do You have any info that maybe you could share with me?

  • @heartsMuzikhearts well i am 16 almost 17 next month : ) But ummm like what kind of info like what they do and stuff or like how you go places......? i know some info though. and yeah i am scared too actually.

  • @Leilahorsey123 Info like how to become one. What do you have to do? Go to college and study for it or what? That kind of info. Because im almost graduating and im positive that this is something i want to become.

  • @heartsMuzikhearts Well after you graduate collage you have to get hired by the airline you want to work for to be a flight attendant then after you get hired you have to go to flight attendant training school its in an center its the airline center for what ever airline you want to work for. Training takes 8-10 weeks usually. And i want to be a flight attendant too as you might know lol. i am going to my first year of collage next year though cause i am 17.

  • @Leilahorsey123 Gosh im so excited! I cant wait to start learning and flying around the world! I hope i dont get tired of planes though lol And that's good that your going to college. You have a head start. When did you find out that you wanted to be a FA?

  • @heartsMuzikhearts well my family and i we fly around to places a lot and actually thats when i found out that i really want to be a flight attendant is cause i love to fly and help people. Yep my family flies a lot though : ) i just also think its a cool job. so you are in the United states?...are you planning to fly internationally like to other countries?? Just wondering. And i am really excited to have this job too : D

  • Comment removed

  • @heartsMuzikhearts cool!!!! so is this like your first time on a plane? or just have not been on for a long time? And next month my family and i are going to Europe in France Paris for a week in a half or so vacation : ) lol i am going there next month! but yeah i live in the United states i live in New Jersey (NJ). and its my dream to be a FA too. i love traveling so much. Well i hope by then you and your friends have a great time!!!! : )

  • @Leilahorsey123 Are you home schooled or something? and that sound like a nice trip your so lucky.

And nope that's going to be my first time on a plane. That's why im a little nervous

  • @heartsMuzikhearts Ohhhhh well i am sure you will do fine on the plane : ) they are actually really fun! i love flying. No i am not home schooled i have a week in a half break off from school next month we have breaks so yeah and this is Feb break. i have been going on planes seince i was 5 months old as a baby. : ) so anything else?........

  • @heartsMuzikhearts p.s. your female right? i am : )

  • @Leilahorsey123 Yeah i am too. And well thats pretty much it Thanks for answering my questions

  • @Leilahorsey123 welcome no problem

  • Stand back Stand back Stand back Stand back Stand back Stand back Stand back Stand back Stand back

  • @atfatw

Hahahah, and wouldn't you enjoy that?

    Thanks for the laugh

  • Well heres the deal...I don't really have money for college, and even if I took out loans all my interests don't really have much in the way of jobs waiting for me once I'm finished with a degree (Literature, psychology, theatre) so I was kind of looking for something I could jump into, make some money to support myself and save up, and then if I felt like I needed to or wanted to I could use the money I had saved to go to school without being in debt and while still having a job to fall back on

  • @KittenLostinParis

college brat, still living at home with mommy? you could use a good spanking with a hairbrush

  • Hey uhhm you two @atfatw and @Annie777able can you two just shut up? Or maybe exchange e-mails and fight back and forth in a way that the public need not see all your useless excuse of a dispute..? Kthanks.

I actually think that a flight attendant is a very respectable job.

  • do you need how to swim if your a flight attendant too???????..........

  • i am 13 in a half years old now but when i grow up i really want to have the job of a flight attendant on Continental i like to fly and help people thats why lol hoping to

  • Wow! Not too "ZEN" there atfatw, so...in this day and age when jobs are not that easy to find or get, you seem really ready to cut loose with the critique on others. So let me get this right. You are like "Gordon Ramsey" but not. So you are just an @ss of shortorder cook working at the Perkins, IHop or Denny's over my MSP airport and you hate FA's because they give your waitress girl/boy-friend hell waiting tables and send backe their eggs because you can't do that right either!

  • @Annie777able

low class and pathetic and an ex con too. just about anything evil including eating the dead (which taste like that dang airline food you creeps always serve to innocent children on the airplane) won't stop anyone from becoming an airline stew. what do you stews do to keep it all together heroin or speed?

  • @atfatw You should get out of that padded cell more, oh wait they don't let you out. So just take your meds and turn on the Motel Sign that says "VACANCY" go up to the house on the hill and climb into bed with your mothers corpse and make crazy mad love to it all night long! Then ask her to marry you in the morning. You are the pathetic ex con low class twit, not I.Leave the underage girls alone and take your meds Norman F-ing Bates!

  • @Annie777able

you certainly are depraved aren't you! ever been arrested for prostitution a requirement for your sorry ass 'profession' you scumbags should know that its because of you that airline tickets are so sky high. your lazy ass job can be easily done by robots and much more efficiently face it you suck ex con!

  • @atfatw Ah no, depraved would be YOU. I, unlike you have never been arrested for ANYTHING. It is OBVIOUS you don't like women, except for the corpse of your mother! It is obvious that you are in jail for rape, murder or both, because no one would shag you. So, with that said off with you to the prison galley for you to cook up some good prison chow for your fellow inmates, and just think if you steal some of that oil you can have a fun time with one of them tonight!

  • @Annie777able

Damn you ARE a real degenerate aren't you! you are a pyscho piece of crap are you not? ha ha ha. you accuse me of sex practices that you are soooooo down with and love to do there is no degenerate sex practices that you won't do!!!!! as you love it!!!! why don't you be a TSA body scanner so you can touch all sorts of old ladies and adolescent girls its right 'up' your alley so to speak! ha ha

Incidently, I got alnife so I have no need to reply to a typical airline stew

  • That Male Flight Attendant is HOT, I would love to join the Mile High club with him.

  • I would love to get my sister and mom into being a flight attedants!

  • Been on quite a few long haul flights mainly to Asia using different airlines and found that the cabin crew were extremely polite, friendly, and did their job well, without fuss, except for one female FA on a Qantas flight from Frankfurt - Bangkok, she was tall, blonde, rude and scared the shit outta me with her "Ivè got better things to do" attitude, as she looks down her nose at me. Must have been the wrong time of the month to fly i guess ! Sure put me off flying with Qantas again

  • I'm a flight attendant. Is it brain surgery? No. Are the hours long? They can be. Are today's customers more uncivilized than ever?to a degree, however, the passengers individual personality issues, aren't important enough for me to be bothered by.

What counts to me is this: I make about 37K per year, for a job that only requires about 12-14 days a month from me. I'm not tied down to a desk, and I'm seeing the world. I'm I a Skywaiter? YUP, and quite proud and content with that.

  • @tonybklyn I'm going to be graduating high school in a few months and I can't decide if I want to go to university or seek some sort of training and then apply to become a flight attendant. Any words of wisdom or advice???

  • @KittenLostinParis If you are college bound, there really is no question. I think you're better served with a degree, then apply to be a flight attendant afterwards. Now, here's advice I give to younger crewmembers coming in: Stay 2-3 years tops, go have a career, make some money...and later in life you can always comeback to this. That's basically what I did.

  • @KittenLostinParis Get a trade or apply to be a flight attendant.

University grads will be "the new poor" with some exceptions of course.

Scottrade and other cos like that now have MBAs "selling stock!" Talk about slumming it! You don't even have to be a high school graduate to be a broker, you just have to be licenced.

I guess they forgot that old saying "overqualified."

  • @tonybklyn

i'm flight crew as well..my friends do envy my work schedule..and this month i will be laying on the beach in the Caribbean every 5 days for 24hrs!!!

  • @njdivad that's amazing!

  • @tonybklyn that's cool... how long have you been a flight attendant? like since what age? i'm interested in being a flight attendant so i'm curious.

  • @tonybklyn Good comment! I like it!

  • @tonybklyn what u mean 37K ??

  • @puncake2 37,000.00 dollars (plus per diem).

  • @puncake2 :O nice :) i wanna be an airhostess too !!! :D am from Cyprus

  • @tonybklyn Thank you for posting your comment! I'm 19 and currently training with Sir George Seymour in New Zealand to become a flight attendant for the very reasons you mentioned... and i'm proud to say i can't wait to get in the sky! :D

  • @tonybklyn Who do you work for and is it still like that? Cause the airline I work for right now doesn't care about us and took away most of our benefits. We can only cross the ocean 3 times a year...

  • @tonybklyn

    :) I like that!

  • @tonybklyn Absolutely nothing for you not to be proud of... I love flying across the world and I truly am jealous of you guys for your job...! Keep doing what makes you happy

  • Oh Gawd, "college graduates?" They have to be kidding!

  • @popeye1250 It actually for competition reasons only, you really don't need one. Obviously you see this as a "lowly job" so it's hard for you to fathom, but..this is one of the most competitive jobs in America, with only 1% of those who apply actually getting hired.

  • @tonybklyn No I don't see it as a "lowly" job at all. It's just that this "requirement" for a "degree" is getting out of hand!

The kids who's parents are "connected" and go to work in the State Dept out of places like Harvard, Dartmouth and Princeton end up doing what is basically secretarial work!

You simply don't need a "degree" to do most jobs.

Why would a pilot need a "degree" to fly a plane? That's all experience and getting lisenses.

  • @popeye1250 Agreed on all points Popeye, but when you have jobs available where competition is keen, you get to add a couple of levels to the competition.

Truth be told, once the interviewing process starts, nothing will matter except the required (by law) high school diploma. It will be up to the individuals to "sell themselves as the best candidate ("most qualified" doesn't even apply).

However if all things being equal, the one with the degree will get preference.

  • @tonybklyn Why?

I would think that would be a liability, they'd be doing their jobs "resentfully."

  • @popeye1250 I'm talking about the selection process only. If two candidates have equal interview scores, the one with either the highest level of education, or military service will generally get preferential selection.

As far as resentful, I think that's just a matter of someone not exercising their option of personal choice. No one is forced to do this job. Personally, I love it..as menial as it may appear to be.

  • @tonybklyn Oh sure, anyone who's served our country in uniform should certainly be given preference.

And I'm glad you enjoy your job, I always try to be respectful , cooperative and friendly to the flight crew whenever I fly. You guys do a great job.

Thing is if you're an MBA and you end up "selling stock" it must be a huge letdown, no M&A, no Investment Banking!

  • @popeye1250 Wow, you REALLY made your point with that one (MBA selling stock). Difference is...most people with advance degrees come into this job much later in life, generally AFTER their main career.

I was 43 when I started flying....after 21 years in media management. I have an advance degree in communications, and still have no problem opening cans of coke for a living (now giving out the Pringles..well that's whole different element).

    Take care Popeye!

  • they are responsible for making sure safety regulations are observed on their aircraft.....yeah, but the sad thing is usually those who don't care about safety are the passengers, and they are who we need to protect....so sad

  • Hey, I'm a male f/a for a major airline in the USA and it has got to be the absolute best job in the world ! Think about it; you get paid good money to fly all over the country, stay in luxury hotels w/o having to pay for them, and hang out with beautiful women everyday. If this is torture then chain me to the wall !!!

  • Those who say that kind of job is for losers are totally stupids.I am a flight attendant and this job is so great. Those stupids think we just serve beverage and food, but that's not true, because when you are travelling,in that time, your lifes are in flight attendant's hands.

  • This is really a great job....but i have never seen such a crap video ! is it supposed to ben an adv !!?? where did they get theses two people ?!

  • And I don't care about my English grammar. Because we are talking about flight attendant not your English grammar course.

  • you are very rude, who said flight attendant is a job for losers. very bad mind.

  • Almost every job the newby gets stuck with the shit job or time that most people wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole.

Myself i was thinking about applying to be a bus driver until i found out what route the newby's get stuck. The more senior people get to first pick at the routes. By the time it gets to the new guyor women what's left is a white knuckle ride through Cracktown.

  • I like their uniforms. What airline is this?

  • Flight Attendants is a loser job for failures who want to think they have an important job just because they get to travel for free. A flight attendant is a waiter, or waitress- janitor that dresses up. If your ultimate career goal is to be a flight attendant, then you have failed in life.

  • @AubreyMan2012

....you envy flight attendants and you know that...that's the reason why you are so frustrated and keep writing bullshit on several FA videos.I've been a FA for over 9 years, make for sure more money than you do,enjoy 18 days off a month, stay at the best hotels and travel the whole world...something you will never achieve in your life...i'm wondering who the loser is after all.

  • @AubreyMan2012 A Fight Attendant is a glorified waiter or waitress? You're the kind of passenger that in the event of you having a health issue onboard I would continue my cabin service and watch gag, I can't wait for Homeland Security & the airlines clearance for us to start carrying tasers, you'll bel nice and polite I'll bet!

  • @AubreyMan2012 you as... with ears

  • and what's wrong with being a waiter of an waitress? is an honest job and taxes are paid. there is something off with your way of thinking..... simplictic. Just let people be.

  • @aea1976 you are right it is an honest job.... I am flight attendent too in india

  • @AubreyMan2012 why?

  • bad hair, a lousy figure,. big feet and a big head and lank thin blah hair is all that you need to be an airline stew

  • @atfatw wll girl then U have got a JOB! So dust those old 80's pumps off. Get some pomade on that frizzy hair, put those kids of yours in the orphanage and let your bff screw your husband! Your hired!

  • @bajtex

hey. poophead be certain to take your court ordered thorzine and stay away from places where adolescent girls hang out like in the mall

  • @atfatw Oh and since we are on the subject of being insulting. Get OFF your mom's PC. Haul that 400 pd of girth back to her bedroom. Cuddle up with your mother and ask her AGAIN why you can't move in with you boy/girl friend even if you have that great job as a Short-order cook at Perkins by the MSP airport. Then go than your Russian stalker for his time...because in the opinion of most he was wasting it away! Cheers! Douche!

  • @Annie777able

as always an unmitigated muddle but what can you expect from a airline stew usually they are sluts of the worse kind or really low class and stupid and in your case real ugly and smelly!!!!!!

  • @atfatw You should know muddle, you pompous twit. A flight attendant must have REALLY done a number on you to get you this fired up to become an lowly internet troll. Ugly and smelly?!?!?! Is THAT the best you can do?!?! Come on let it ROLL get YOURSELF banned! Is'nt it time for you to go to work yet, oh wait that is right you don't have that job as a short order cook at Perkins MSP anymore because you can't even do that RIGHT!

  • @mofokraut ROFL, check your punctuation and grammar before you post or you're credibility is nothing but crap...not to mention it makes you sound like the king of all idiots.

  • i didnt know you needed college.

  • @Nina12241992 Its not required, but they prefer it.

  • @dcFaddy so when i graduate high school i can still be one right?? cuz thats what i wanna be... do you think my chances are low?

  • @Nina12241992 All depends on who you go with, they still have an age requirement(lowest i have seen is 20)

If I were you Id graduate and then do 2 years of a community college and then apply.

  • Beware of AMR/AA you will have to join their union APFA who works for management and not their members! During the HOSTILE TAKE OVER DISGUISED AS A MERGER OF TWA together with AA's then CEO Donald Carty and TWA's then CEO William F. Compton they placed all TWA's Inflight Crews in the bottom of the Seniority List setting in motion using 9/11 the permanent furlough and legal dismissal of all TWA's personal!

  • @TWTR4EVER Are you still going on about that AA/TW crap Hector, Let it go already!, Stick that Fruit on your Head & Be Happy with your job as a Carmen Miranda Impersonater at The Cock Pit Dance Club

  • WOW...Carnot Training Center....I remember being there through BARBIE AND KEN BOOTCAMP!!!! OMG, that was INTENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Such a cheesy video.

  • Looks like US Scareways

  • @XJetPilot72 LOL gud one, but dont ever disrespect my airline like dat again!

  • BRUNO ASSASSINO

  • watch: Adria Cabin Crew

  • don't they ever get tired of doing up seatbelts and putting on masks?

  • i would love to be a flight attendent !! im 20 years old currently in college.. and im thinking about changing my major.. so if anyone has some tips please let me know !! =) thanks in advance

  • @HugszNKisseszx0x0 I'm in the same boat - I have no idea where to start.

  • flying overseas from australia always qantas biss class aussie domestic virgin blue jetstar 2nd tiger never would rather not go though stort haul overseas gold coast queensland to christchurch new zealand jetstar was quit good but still pefer pacific blue

  • i want to become a flight attendant very much!!! but i do not know how... :-/

  • @NinaLepsveridze Simply apply with the particular airline that you would like to work for, or whichever airline is hiring. They will train you and everything. Don't pay for training before hand. That is all :-)

  • thnx!!! @mkortbek

  • i agreed tat flight attendants are hard working people. when i fly, i want to avoid calling them as much as possible

  • well you should.. it was a continental express flight.... almost 9 years ago. nothing was really wrong with the aircraft. rough landing no hydrolics

  • hot towel, hot towel?

bend over, heads down and kiss you ass good bye!!! I was in an emergency landing and the FA was the first one out the door... leaving everyone else on board! i almost pee my pants laughing at her .... I could of died laughing..... they would problably thought it was smoke that did me in!!!

  • Now why do i not belive your little story ???hmmm

  • I JET WITH JETBLUE AIRWAYS!!!!!!

  • GO US Airways!

  • @atfatw

    Someone is jaleous....

  • atfatw has been insulting quite a few flight attendant videos. its probably that he has just had a failure in his life becoming a flight attendant.

  • Dam I want to be a Flight attendants.

  • That is true a flight attendants weight has to be approprite to their heights.

  • what airline is thst?

  • Looks like an old US AIrways cabin mock up.

  • lol 1:24-1:26 "be able to keep your weight in a proportion to your height" Sorry, US Airways doesn't want you, but Air Tran will hire your fat nasty ass.

  • not true i travelled US Airways and let me tell you they have the oldest and fattest flight attendent i have seen so far

  • I liked the comment in this video

    "Flight Attendants are important people"

what the hell is this - more Capitalist propaganda to assuage the savage

Proletarian ??? Sorry, false flattery only makes me more Socialist.

  • as a flight attendant the job is sooooo not glamorous, but i love every minute of it! couldn't imagine doing anything else

  • So I rahter STUDY to have a better job and traveling around the world on the right way, LIKE A PASSENGER!!!

If you desire to be FA, THINK TWICE!!! take into consideration all of the comment below!!!

    Sincerilly!!!

  • so you "rahter" STUDY to be a PASSENGER than be paid to travel? Are you stupid? I "Sincerely" (not Sincerilly) can wager I make more than you based on your illiteracy as a Flight Attendant. Don't hate, educate! Then hope you get hired, LOSER.

  • Exactly, it´s a job that looks "glamorous" on the outside, but the inside, all FA's we know that is a NASTY WORK!!! Working at nights, weekends, holidays, important family days, no schedules, no time to eat and sleep right, smelling odors through the cabin!!! seated and eating near to the bahtrooms!!! collecting garbage and oral waste napkings!!! many days away to your family, friends, home, working when everybody resting... DAG!!! I'love to travel but no more on this way!!!
