@TimbaztiCc No, you'll need to run it into some sort of audio input. For example, Scratch Live, Traktor Scratch, etc, all require you to have their own audio interfaces. You can use your computer's built-in audio input for some software, such as Deckadance, but it'll add a small amount of latency.
Works Good. Purchased and works fine with my SERATO SCRATCH LIVE V.1.9.2
If you purchase Maya-44 sound card interface (under $100.00) and have a DJ mixer already and get virtual dj.
( If you don't have money for a fancy turntable or cd decks. ) I don't see why as a cheap way a person can do this. All you need is one ITOUCH to mix two tracks, cuz tha program can switch from deck a to deck b when you have only one source.
Works pretty decent for scratching. I have some video up and posted a response which hopefully they will aprrove, comparing real vinyl with Traktor vinyls and ToneTable. It takes a little getting used to, but it is definitely workable for scratching.
There is a slight delay - mainly due to latency from the way they iPhone/iPod Touch handles touches. Check out the Video Responses to get an idea of responsiveness.
It has not been tested with VirtualDJ. It appears that VirtualDJ can use Scratch Live's control vinyl - so it is possible that it would work, but until it has been tested I can't say for sure.
You hook it up like you would a regular turntable/CDJ - but you will need a stereo 1/4" plug to stereo RCA audio cable to connect your iPhone's audio output to the Audio 8's audio input.
I have not tried this on an Audio 8 interface, but, yes, you should be able to use it as a third turntable controller. I believe you will need Traktor Scratch Pro to do this (as Traktor Scratch Duo is limited to 2 decks, and Traktor Pro doesn't provide vinyl/CD control).
Yes - I believe for Traktor Scratch Pro you need the Audio 4 or Audio 8 audio interface (as you would if you were to connect regular CD decks or turntables to Traktor). Also note that it requires Traktor Pro/Duo doesn't have turntable control - only Traktor Scratch Pro/Duo.
its possible to have traktor scratch without a traktor certified sound card. native instruments deny it but any good asio soundcard can run it, check my videos where i have mine set up.
That guy has one steady fuckin hand HAHA

Wow. Nice. Saves you from a lot of money
But how responsive is it when you're actually scratching. I wanna buy it to use it just for that, not for dj ing.
Thanks.

I already bought it :D
It's nice but you have to keep track of the cue using your display, and not the turntable on the iPhone.
But it's very nice !

lol, why would anybody wanna use this :)))

I assume you're from Romania.
Well, I don't have 400€ to spend on a Vestax turntable, and I don't have the DJ skills.
But I do want some scratches on my songs.
I wouldn't use this in a live environment though.

Excellent demo - now I need an iphone.. Thanks:)

Would it work with VirtualDJ? I currently use the Numark Virtual Vinyl record to control it.
Thanks

(this is the 3rd time I've tried to reply)
Cool - looks like you've got everything you need. Hooking it up to channel C or D will work.

i presume this won't work with a standard firewire/usb soundcard connected to say, Traktor Pro.
I'll need the Audio 4/8, yes?
looks wonderful, good work.

Thanks for the info - but if it is a feature that Native Instruments do not support then we cannot recommend using it with Traktor Scratch.
