You inspired me to pick the harmonica up again after your Whammer Jammer video....thanks for the lessons. I'm a jazz/rock/blues piano player and always wanted to play the saxaphone, the harmonica gets really close to that growling, bending sound.
Well ya know, that may help explain why the main place I've used that riff in my own playing is when playing THAT song. I must have heard the Count B. / Joe W. version and made the connection. Thanks for reminding me!
This made my afternoon, Adam! Love the great Ray ! He always inspires me to pick up a harmonica when I hear him play, but my trouble is finding the right key.. I use the 2 draw, but it still seems hard to tell.. Any suggestions?
Great!! Ray Chalres is the first Blues Musician I know. I love his music!!
His song named Booty-Butt also has a great groove!!

I've watched a lot of your videos, but could never get the hang of it. But I enjoy the training anyways...

You just blow me away, with how you can break down a song like rockhouse and make it your own riff.
Not really your own,but you run with such a percise way of pulling it all together with the harp.
Very cool stuff Adam!
