FLCL is based around a japanese urban legend that if you have sex with someone before you are of age, you will grow a horn on your forehead so everyone can see what you have been up to. Hence, Fooly Cooly (fooling around). FLCL just took that urban legend and added to it ^_^

such a good anime about coming of age and sexual frustration. If you watch episode 1 of Neon Genesis Evangelion you will see a LOT of the same stuff...the ass/boob shots, the adult-kid relationship, the blue/red blood, the 'just joking-anger' while driving and the car (vespa) darts back and forth on the road..and atomsk looks like an Eva when they describe him (not his actual form). Not that that's all bad, I love EVA and its good to see its homage paid somewhere
