  • Well MotoGP pole position this year!

  • elbowZ!

  • WSBK champ as a rookie and is headed for Moto GP. Way to go Ben.

  • i dont know the name of the song but the group is the streets.

  • anyone know the name of the song in the beggining?

  • I hope he comes to moto gp in the next couple of years. Hes doing pretty good in sbk.

  • i think he is racing in last round as a wild card this year then coming next year for full season!!

  • I think ben should have toselands ride. dont get me wrong i love toseland. but he aint cutting it...

  • with ben's showing this year (2009) for wsbk, companies would be foolish not to reconsider him for motogp, or to offer an ass load of dough to keep riding sbk

  • @phatcow2 how many millions has he made since he started!

  • Looks like Spies did not make the cut in motogp....lucky for SBK as he is killing some of the best riders in the world. Besides motogp is boring stacked up to SBK racing.

  • Its a shame that Ben didn't get a ride next yr @ Suzuki Moto GP because he looks better than what they've got @ the moment racing 4 them!.

  • bullshit!!! vermulen is a kick ass rider, check out the results in the wet!.

  • Suzuki's riders' Chris Vermeulen (future World Champion), and Loris Capirossi are two of the best riders on the planet. The bike that Suzuki provided for them in previous years has been trash.

Suzuki got off their arses late 2008 and improved the bike for 2009, during recent testing both Chris Vermeulen and Loris Capirossi just happened to be topping the time sheets; which I envisaged would happen once they were on a competetive bike.

  • Chris & Loris are exelent racers but there's better riders out there for the GSV-R. Leon Haslem is better on a Suzuki than both the honda or ducati machine's he's riden in the past & personally i hate the guy.

Fast testing times don't win world championships, SMOOTH CONSISTENT riding wins them with a good package. Although I don't test or work on the GSV-R program, I know the guys who do so I know more than u about what happens in that team. Chris will NEVER WIN Moto GP but could win WSB!!.

  • No, fast testing times don't neccesarily win championships, you're right. Nor does an uncompetetive bike win championships either.

Yes, excellent* smooth consistant riding with a good package wins championships, that we ALL know, and Chris and Loris both have the excellent smooth consistant riding, and now they have a good package to go with it. So what's the arguement?

"I know the guys who do so I know more than u about what happens in that team."

You sound like your 7 years old, grow up.

  • Thank you for confirming my assumptions.

  • So how about you just not comment on things you know nothing about...

  • nice to see another american in gp. spies is a good guy. i hope he has the same success in nickey hayden has had and more. welcome to moto gp ben!
