I been in many MW2 games on my ps3, where there are objects in the game that dont belong in the map, where ppl shoot from tower tops and hot even aimed on the guy. To get the person. Probably im talking maybe like around 15 times now where im in one of these. And it gets on m y nerves. First i try to play it, then i just keep dyeing. So i just quit out. So honestly it really needs to stop. If your one of thsese, Just quit it, cause its getting annoying. and its getting on our nerves.

GEOHOTZ didn't release hacks for MW2 or anything like that. He doesn't even own MW2 (interview). He hacked his PS3 (HIS) to gain full access to his system which is legal and his right. It's the community's fault for using the firmware the wrong way.
It's like MW2 itself. It's not IWs fault for putting it in the game, but the communities fault for exploiting it. Also IW could have done better protecting from hacks.

I called PSN, PSN claimed my account was banned because there was a "charge back" aka they tried to charge my credit card but it was declined. I called my credit card company and they see the purchase made.. It wasn't declined. I called PSN and asked if I could fax them my bill for proof that there was no charge back.
PSN Refused to receive a fax of my bill.. and refuse to accept the fact that I was charged and there was no charge back. So.. they screwed me not only out of my user account and the shit ton of friends from around the world, but also all my trophies that I worked so hard on, as well as over $300 worth of downloaded content from PSN... all of it is gone. So fuck PSN for fuckin me.
Same thing(Charge Back or w/e it's called) happened to me 4 times, twice while renting a Movie and twice while buying DLC from the PS Store......at no point has my PSN Account ever been banned.
I guess this is just one of those, "sucks to be you" moments :)
Also, if they end up banning you're Console for Hacking then it will be "fuck you x2" just a FYI.

GUNNS, I disliked this video.
GEOHOTZ didn't release hacks for MW2 or anything like that. He doesn't even own MW2 (interview). He hacked his PS3 (HIS) to gain full access to his system which is legal and his right. It's the community's fault for using the firmware the wrong way.
It's like MW2 itself. It's not IWs fault for putting it in the game, but the communities fault for exploiting it. Also IW could have done better protecting from hacks.
BTW, Geohotz is against online hacking....

There are several ways to sue a hacker. You could sue anyone that hacked against you for violating your terms of license for the game if you have proof and record network data. You can sue for violation of privacy. The data might be there but it runs along the lines of viewing data your not meant to or manipulating data to the second party. You would get the same charges as tapping a phone line or stealing and monitoring wireless internet. All you need is a good lawyer and a rich 10 y/o.

I called PSN, PSN claimed my account was banned because there was a "charge back" aka they tried to charge my credit card but it was declined. I called my credit card company and they see the purchase made.. It wasn't declined. I called PSN and asked if I could fax them my bill for proof that there was no charge back.

So.. they screwed me not only out of my user account and the shit ton of friends from around the world, but also all my trophies that I worked so hard on, as well as over $300 worth of downloaded content from PSN... all of it is gone. Most people who get bricked are people who installed fake CFW 3.55 as opposed to Geohot's CFW 3.55 and or updated to 3.56 without reinstalling OFW 3.55 first. They are not Banned on MW or MW2 they are just waiting to get PSN access back from OFW 3.60. That is the only reason you don't see as many infected lobbies, it's not because their system is bricked or banned.
