  • Jenna was a snobby, mean spirited, lazy bitch her season. She came here knowing her mother was dying - how irresponsible of her to come in the first place. Nobody would be this forgiving if a man did the same thing.

  • JENNA MORASCA LEGEND

Good she made it home in time first legit quitter ever she had no choice and should never be compared to losers like Osten, NaOnka and Purple Kelly they are pittifull she is always LEGEND

  • CBS knew about her mother and was keeping in touch so they let Jenna know. She was hoping to make it as far in the show as she can with her Mother being OK. But, when the news came that it was turning worst she left. She then had to live through Ethan's cancer as well after they got married. Life isn't always fair.

  • Well if the sadness of the situation doesn't destroy you, that heartbreaking music will. Cripes.

  • First ever hug between Ethan and Jenna

  • Jenna's mom actually died a little after she came back, if she hadn't quit and stayed and made it to the jury, she probably would´nt make it time

  • Sooooo glad she made it in time....

  • It's a terrible thing for Jenna, and I'm very sorry for her, but she really shouldn't have gone onto the show. It's good though she had that feeling she has to go back home and she left before it was too late.

  • I'm happy Jenna felt the need to leave before her mother passed away. This was very awful news to hear.

  • It is sad. But I don't think she should have gone in the first place, with that situation. unless she was ready to have closure with her mom on leaving. It's a tough fact of life that we all lose people tragically.

In that situation, she shouldn't have gone out if she felt the way she did about it. It was her call, but it would have been nice to have that wisdom before leaving.

  • I'm just glad she got to her mother in time.

  • My entire family watched this and we were all crying. This is one of those moment's where my parents taught me that family always comes first. I'm not doing it cause I'm taught that way, because that's what I feel is right. I'm so sorry Jenna.

  • Shut UP, Alisha! : /

  • @MrInhibitor A very good person? A on Survivor Amazon she was so mean to a girl that was hearing impaired.

  • without a doubt one of the saddest moments in all 23 seasons..

  • When the heart speaks listen

  • I feel so sad the girl losing her mother like that

  • Omg so sad :( Probably the saddest moment in all 23 seasons

  • You already won a million. Why did you sign up for this one knowing that your mother was sick ?

Other people feeling bad for her was pure bullshit btw.

  • @Alojale I totally agree and then a few months later Jenna said not only did she not regret leaving but she did not regret going either. That means she had no regrets about taking the spot of someone who had not won before only to quit after a few days. If that does not epitomize and self-centered spoiled brat I don't know what does.

  • where are sean and fairplay they r all-stars and i think they should have a second chance survivor only ppl that played once b4

  • if jenna wasnt replaced she shoulda been

  • i think it's messed up that Jenna's mom dies of cancer and now she has a boyfriend (if she's still with Ethan Zohn and i think she is) who has been battling cancer on and off since 2009

  • Impeccable timing on her part. She did the right thing, apologizing for leaving but her family was priority.

  • Just goes to show the reality part of this game. My heart goes out to u Jenna. Sorry it's so late.

  • Poor Jenna :'(

  • yeah, jenna shouldn't of gone, but the important thing is that she realised her mistake and went home. probst was out of line making it everybody else's business.

  • @mimimiumiu006 A few months later on the morning show after the finale she said she did not regret leaving and did not regret going. That means she did not feel the least bit bad about taking the spot of someone who had not one before. That right the epitomizes what a self-centered spoiled brat Jenna is.

  • @zt1053 i'm sorry but i don't see how that has much to do with what i said..

  • @mimimiumiu006 If she realized it was a mistake then she wouldn't have said she didn't regret going either

  • Comment removed

  • poor girl. goodness though did they really have to play that music at the end? made me tear up.

  • Jenna M made the right decision

  • Comment removed

  • wow that was hard for me to watch... if that happened to me i would of never came because i wont be able to forgive my self for leaving my family when one is sick nor could i forgive my self of quitting the game though she did not quit she pulled out of the game i would of done the same thing Jenna you where one of the best winners along with Ethan

  • Rest in peace, Jenna's Mom :)

  • RIP Jeena's mum... ):

  • This is one of Probst worst moments. I remember wasn't there actually someone fired because they found out one of the staff members was leaking info to Jenna?.. WHO THE FUCK CARES. The fact the Probst was so insensitive towards Jenna when it was her freaking MOTHER vs a GAME she already won... ugh, that turned me off of Probst for a long time. He was acting like they all had a say in whether she should be 'allowed' to leave. He was just pissed someone was giving her info.

  • at least one good thing came out of the bad judgement call for Jenna. At 5:33 you can see by Ethan's expression that he is learning what a good person Jenna is and is touched by what she is doing. They are now boyfriend and girlfriend

  • @18MattCain they were actually dating before the game started.

  • JEFF FOR FREKING SHAKE JUST LET HER LEAVE

  • i fell bad for jenna :(

i liked her since in Amazon :(

  • god i hate alicia. im sur shes a shemale. shes just an all stars in talking crap

  • amber seems to grow so fast she seems 10 years older than australia and nowadays she looks not so pretty anymore

  • Alicia is being such a bitch. Jenna's right there and she's just pretty much calling her out. Not nice.

  • You know what, say whatever you want. Call Jenna a quitter or whatever, this is excuseable. Jeff said that he'll never ask a 'quitter' back but he actually did ask back Jenna. So she's not a quitter, she just had to leave the game. She knew it, she had the intuition, she made the right move.

You guys that don't think her quitting is legitimate, then you guys might not have a soul. Osten, Nay, and PK's quitting could be hated, but not Jenna's. She had a reason.

  • @VeeRazzles Sorry but I don't agree with you - while her reason for quitting is good and a respectful one, she KNEW about her mother condition BEFORE the start of this show and yet she choose to come to the show. She shouldn't be here at all and I just see it as a pointless to come and then leave - doing this just fucks your team-mates over....Well I guess the producers did that so we have drama to watch and her leaving was scheduled beforehand, but still......

  • @cl1cka So you think that Jenna should be called a 'quitter' and never be back on the show ever again?

  • @VeeRazzles Don't really care if she is back or not. What I am saying is I can't respect a person that obviously came to the show for some tv time, so she won't be forgotten, to make some drama and then leave. She knew from the start she was going to leave but that didn't stop her from participating. She shouldn't be there at all, or she did that to get tv time wiith no intention of making it far whatsoever, that's what I am saying....

  • @cl1cka Ok well you're ignorant and assumptive, and you had no idea what was going through her head when she began this game. God.

  • @cl1cka while i feel sorry for her mother, first she shouldn't have returned in the first place, second, she just wasted a spot, i heard christa was also invited to join all-stars, and third, i think her mother's condition is just a part of the reason she quit the game, with her placement in her tribe she is likely to go out first

  • @badguykris13 Jenna's mom talked her into going to play again, Jenna didn't want to leave her. I think Shii-Ann would have gone before Jenna though, she and Colby butted heads from day one. Christa didn't want to do it, and the only other one invited from Pearl Islands was Sandra but she was still recovering from the bacteria bug bites.

  • stupid jenna

  • my mom is sick too, so I cried like a baby during this episode.. I don't blame her for going. when a TV show calls you its a hard oppurtunity to pass up. She just got her daughter vibe and knew she had to go.. She didn't do anything wrong.. I am glad she got home in time. <3 Jenna and R.i.P her mom. I respect Jenna a lot for saying she made a bad judgment call and just had to go home. Alexis is a bitch.

  • Sorry for Jenna. But luckily, she made it to her mum's bedside and stayed by her till her last breath );

  • We tend to underestimate our instincts. Jenna somehow knew her mom was dying. I've heard several stories of mothers who knew the exact moment when their son was killed in a war (Vietnam and Gulf War I). There's no scientific explanation for it, but it seems to happen quite often.

  • it sucks b/c she was such a great player. such a forgotten player b/c of this moment. who knows how far she could have gone

  • Why did Jenna come to play in the first place? They should have asked somebody else

  • omg she knew!i have shivers...

  • Ugh.....Why couldnt Johnny Fairplay have been given the opportunity to come on the show.

  • what is the song that they play when jenna is leaving? its stuck in my head

  • @XoprincessminiXo A Celtic Heart by Russ Landau.

  • I will always get shivers watching this episode of Survivor. It's a surreal moment when you realize just how little time Jenna had to make that decision to leave the game and go be with her mother. I know how painful it must have been for her.

  • I'm sorry but I still don't like it when people quit the game. She really shouldn't have come out in the first place... given someone else a chance to play the game.

  • @AnnaMidnightStar You have no heart. Give her a break.

  • Dear Jenna Morasca ur 1 of the best survivor players ever

i hope ur mother was well those last 8 days she will always b in ur heart and she will remain in our hearts bcaz we love jenna we pray for ur mom most of the times i truely respect u! and i loved u in TNA! i hope ur doing well and may a good person marry u bcaz they will b lucky to have a wonderful beautiful and kind person like u!

  • Very touching episode of survivor, having a mother who has had cancer myself, I completely understand and respect Jenna's decision. The game is one thing, but a loved one's health is far more important and I admire Jenna so much for what she's been through.

  • @Chrisanthimum Totally understand Jenna and you. My mom fought leukymia five 5 ago and seeying this video makes me cry :( People who never had cancer or deal with this disease can understand the pain and hurt that Jenna was feeling that time....Big Tom words were awfull...just a redneck and same to Alicia :( Props to B.Rob and Amber for supporting her and not judge like most of them....

  • Saddest moment in Survivor History. Watching the entire thing is just so hard. I don't know how anyone could watch that & not feel absolutely horrible for her

I bawled up @ the end man. Very tough. Just glad Jenna got to her mom in time & spent that last week with her

  • I feel so sad and bad for Jenna...poor girl

  • fuck when i read ltr her mum passed away 8 days ltr- i got chills all over my body...fuck :( how sad that is- i am not havin best relationship with my mum- but makes me cry so much when i think of losing her....and now reading of ethan havin cancer- he won survivor and milion bucks- but money doesnt buy hapiness... i wish all of us be healthy and therefore happy

  • Though Jenna's exit was very sad, her situation goes down in my book as the most honorable quitting departure in Survivor history, and one of the very few that does not disappoint or disgust me. Good call and perfect timing for Jenna M; glad she saw her mother before it was too late.

  • this music is beautiful

  • i cried so much during this episode

she made the right choice by leaving

  • Oooh bad choice of words by Kathy: "This is becoming a cancer eating away at us" when describing Jenna's worry over her mom with cancer. I love Kathy, she was my pick to win her season, but ooohhh

  • It is sad that Jenna had to leave the game for her mom who has cancer and now she has to deal with it again because Ethan has cancer.

  • @fawli86 Ethan? From this season?

  • @theneikocompany yep. Ethan Zohn winner of his season in Africa and here.

  • @fawli86 But why is Jenna involved in Ethan having cancer?

  • @theneikocompany What I meant was that I pity Jenna for having two people in her life having cancer.

  • I feel bad for the fact that Jenna's mom has cancer but she had cancer during her first Survivor, too. If it was that serious, Jenna never should have signed up to do it again. She can't hack it this time any more than last time - no guys giving her a free ride in her tribe - and she wants to quit cuz' she knows she's utterly worthless on her own and that's where she's gonna be till she's voted off. Better 2 save face, huh?

  • @KDVx3 You're fucking retarded.

  • So so sad. Im so glad she got home before she died.

  • Poor jenna

  • Ahhh definitely the saddest moment in Survivor history. Jenna is one of my favorite players and seeing this chokes me up every time. The only thing I can't stand is that they show Jenna hug everyone there EXCEPT Rob. It kills me cuz they had one of the most complex relationships in the Amazon, and I know that they are very good friends. Idk, I just never got that...

  • @Noman8292 Well sure they hug. Just before she walks up to Jerri you can see Rob's arms on the right side of the screen.

  • I know what Jenna was going through. I quit my job of almost 30 years, and left the city which I lived in to go to another city to look after my precious Mum. I was very grateful for each and ever moment that I got to spend with her. My being there for her whenever she needed me was my way of letting her know that I would always be there for her. A couple of nights i slept inside a locked bathroom floor so that I could be there for her. I was with her when she died so that she didn't die alone.

  • Alicia is a heartless bitch. Jesus Christ. She is so bitter. Even on the DVD commentary she does not nothing but complain, moan and whine. Whoever get stuck married to her is in for a life of hell.

  • @Michelangelo098 Actually what Tom said was much worse than what Alicia said

  • even thought this was a very sad moment in survivor, i think it is one of the best in survivor history by showing how these 18 castaways can come together for each other and do truly care about one another. rip jennas mom

  • @goomyster27 That's true. I was thinking that some of them might feel relieved that there was no chance that they would go home that day if Jenna left voluntarily, but they all gave good, heartfelt answers. Survivor is an interesting show in how it can bring out the best and worst in people

  • ANOTHER SPOT WASTED FOR THIS SPOILED BRAT. ALICIA WAS RIGHT, WHY COME IN THE FIRST PLACE IF YOUR MUM WAS DYING?

  • @thatmimichick Fuck you. She's not a brat and she made the right move.

  • ethan is so hot with that curls

  • wow, for Kathy to say Jenna being upset and sad and calling it "a cancer" is the biggest insult, there is no comparison to what they're going through and what she is. I just lost a lot of respect for Kathy for her saying that, however well her intentions are.

  • This is one of most darkest episodes in Survivor history. I cried when I saw this episode because I thought my mom was going to die of cancer. :-(

  • If you look at the immunity challenge that was going to be played in this episode, it is actually the one in Heroes vs. Villains that they did in the episode where Tom was voted out.

  • I think it was right for Jenna to leave the game. Those few days she had left with her mom were a gift.

  • I remember crying so hard when I first watched this episode. And once again... this episode makes me cry so hard.

  • She shouldnt came in the game at first place. I dont question her reasons but she should have figured out if she want to play the game or stay at home before the game. I dont know why Colby would be an ass?! Its unfair for the rest of her tribe.

  • Jeff is a nice guy. He was very kind to Jenna.

  • @anshumanutube personally I think Jenna quit because she knew the winners were being targeted as much as anyone else.

"We don't bring quitters back. Ever. Period!" Jeff Probst, on why Johnny Fairplay was not brought back for S20.

So no Jenna Morrasca in a ALL CHAMPIONS season. She quit.

  • I remember I was little and watching this episode late at night hiding around the corner well my parents watching this

    It was sad :,(

  • I remember crying my eyes out when this episode first showed a while ago. This was so sad. :'(

  • Gee....selfish much Colby? He worries about his tribe, but somebody's mother in on their deathbed. Ass.

  • Look at the way Ethan and Jenna hug. They weren't even dating yet, right?

  • @PumaOPumaOPumaO they were dating at that point

  • good for rob putting prosbt in his place

  • @vytillidie10 Yeah...I like how he and Amber were the only ones that fully supported Jenna's decision to leave the game without judging her...and good job to Kathy for defending Jenna and shutting Alicia up

  • That ending was so unexpected the first time. I just assumed that we'd hear an update at the reunion. So when the words flashed on the screen about her mom dying eight days later I was totally floored. Thank God she made the decision when she did. I was never a huge fan of Jenna in the Amazon but she's a good person. Alicia shouldn't have even opened her mouth.

  • Wow. Alicia's heartless.

  • 09:12 spoiler?

  • The hug that Ethan gives Jenna is so sweet. You can tell he loves her.

  • @cathypoley does ethan and jenna have a relation and ethan got a cancer.?

  • @bea02 Ethan and Jenna became friends before All Stars (he hit on her at one of the reunions) and then after they returned from All Stars they started dating and have been together ever since. He got cancer after they had been together for a while.

  • @cathypoley thanks for the response..,4 the info..,im a fan of survivor fr. philippines and jenna is my favorite winner..,thanks again..,")

  • @cathypoley Yeah...and watching this clip after all these years makes me sad that Jenna's going to have to go through the same struggles with Ethan that she did with her mom :(

  • If it were me and my Mother had cancer, I wouldn't leave her side to go on Survivor a second time. First, I've already won the million and Second, if my Mom died without me being there, I would've never forgiven myself. At least Jenna was able to wise up at the last minute and leave the show and see her Mother before she died 8 days later.

  • why the hell did jenna sign up in first place!?!?!!we could have seen another great all star like darrah, elizabeth, colleen or heidi instead of this spoiled brat

  • @ulongkoror HURR DURR you dumbfuck sorry :( but rewatch episode , even i'm not American , when you live and your life is rough family members is dying and that cancer i am sure it didn't started yesterday it started way before this show , but nothing helped so out of desperation she wanted to forget maybe overcome that situation but after few days she understood it's not helping, well i hope your family dies sooner for you to understand fucker fuck you and your mother

  • @CrazyUberix

wow i made a simple comment and you started getting furious and felt the urge to curse and swear all over the place

did mommy forget to remind you to take your pills?or is it due to a lack of self esteem?

  • @ulongkoror yea dude yur a moron

  • jenna is retarted...then dont come in the first place.

  • Most emotional and moving event ever in Survivor History imo. Boston Rob said exactly how most of us felt. Noone should question ones motives when a loved one is dying, especially a parent. I really love how it seems that almost everyone is thinking/praying for her as it pans across all the survivors from 9:38 onwards. Here's hoping Ethan recovers asap and my thoughts are with both of them at this time.

  • Poor Jenna....fair enough she shouldnt have went out their in the first place, but respect to Rob for what he said and i agree with him. Im not gonna judge her at all, besides, 8 days later her mom did die, so have a heart people.

  • @sassyjessica3 And can't you picture her mom trying to encourage her to get out and play again. She probably wanted her to go on Survivor and not let her get in the way.

  • Aww, that made me tear.

  • Jenna was such a bitch in the amazon that I really don't want to feel sorry for her... but I can't help myself.

  • @BenU314159 That's disgusting. You're a disgusting person, her mother died and you have no remorse? Fine, she's $1,000,000 richer than you are

  • Boston Rob was my favorite since survivor marquesas. I hope he wins Hero's vs. Villains

  • Poor Richard. Was sad about his best friend leaving.

  • I was sad about Rudy leaving. He is one of my favorits for sure. 75 years old and still rockin - wish i was that 50 years later.

  • i lost respct for rupert and tom because of their comments about this. hope ethan is ok

  • @Lucyf89 Same goes for Alicia...just when I think she might be a decent person, she goes and makes me lose respect for her by basically saying that Jenna's a bitch for coming back while her mother's dying of cancer...I hope she, Rupert, or Tom go next week

  • WTF Jeff was like stalling to try to get her to stay ifshe wants to go home and she tells you why don't ask everyones opinion and stall?????

  • How sad is it that now Jenna has to go through the same pain of having another loved one battle cancer ...

I've watched video updates of Ethan Zohan and he's doing great and Jenna is by his side. Hope he fights the disease.

  • @ysomar

What? Ethan that guy with black curly hair, has cancer?

  • @lucy8470

Yes, sadly he has cancer but has been having chemo the last few months and Jenna has been by this side all along.

  • @ysomar Where did u see the update does he have a youtube, could u privatre message me it, or post it here, thanks.

  • @ysomar does ethan and jenna have a relation and ethan got a cancer.?

  • @bea02 Yes - they revealed that info on a Survivor special about what's going on with various people that won survivor.

  • @bea02 Yes, Ethan and Jenna have been a couple for years and they live together in New York. Jeff Probst wrote on his blot that at the Heroes vs. Heroes reunion

Ethan stopped by and is happy to say that he is currently in remision .. so great for him and I hope he doesn't get the cancer back.

  • @ysomar He is doing really well, in full remission :).

  • @ysomar Zohn, not Zohan.

  • I am sorry to state this because I feel for Jenna. 'Shouldn't have came???? What kind of grammar is that? I am, as an intelligent viewer, expect a little basic grammar of your mother tongue.

  • @blondecat666 Touchy ,touchy, Mother Superior. Every one's mother tongue is English, the Chinese,Russians,Peruvians,Bengalis,Welsh,Italian.

The only superiors who jet-set around th world and assume that the natives speak their proper English or are boors. Kisch Mir in gefentin.

  • Back when i saw this episode it made me cry and it did again watching it. Just like Boston Rob said it wasn't even right to question her decision. I'm glad Jenna left to be with her Mom ...she knew something was wrong... glad that she got to spend more time before she passed away.

  • What Boston Rob said about Jenna makes him a hero in my book!

  • @ryanbradyjohnblack19 I totally agree, he does have a heart, we just don't see it often :). But really, Jenna has nothing to feel bad about, she didn't need to prove herself to anyone, she already won the game once. I give her a lot of credit for putting her mom before another million bucks.

  • What is the song when Jenna leaves..? i soo want it!

  • Wow Jenna really had a good instict that her mother needed her. I'm really really glad she got there in time to spend a little more than a week with her mom.

  • so sad.

  • boston rob summed it up perfectly. i honestly don't even think it was right to press her on why she was leaving; it seemed kind of innappropriate to me. anyways all in all that was really sad

  • @nicknackkx3 Yeah...I love how he effectively shut Alicia up by saying that it's no one's place to question her motives for going home, because no one but her knows what it feels like to see your mother dying before your eyes and knowing that you can't do anything to help her get better

  • Comment removed

  • She felt it inside her, sometimes you just know, Jenna made the best decision she could, its so sad

  • Definitely the saddest moment in Survivor history.

Jenna was a great player, and I'm glad to see she was able to be with her mother during her final days.

Normally I have zero respect for people who quit the game because they "can't handle it," but I applaud Jenna for this.

  • Sadest moment in Survivor history

God bless you Jenna. You're one of the greatest survivors ever!

  • Everyone must make their own decisions and live with them. I'm sad Jenna lost her mother, glad she got home in time to see her before she died.

Hm. I went through the same thing recently, only I moved states to stay at her side for the last year. They will ALWAYS tell you to live your dream etc. But the truth is, you have to do what you will regret least twenty years later. I have zero regrets for moving to be near/care for her. Jenna was lucky to instinctively KNOW she had to get home.

  • With that rain, I would want to lay the tribe flag on the shelter roof. It may only protect a little spot, but something is better than nothing.

  • Everytime I have problems with my mom, I watch this vid, so I would appreciate her instead of fighting with her.

  • Great music for this part. Very sensitively done by cbs if you ask me. Crazy how she got that "vibe" and her mom died a week later. . . women's intuition?
