Let me start out by saying I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your channel.... I know a lot about hair but theres also a lot I don't know but now I have you!!!.... I had a question about my hair thinning on the sides from wrapping it the opposite way, but you have already answered that for me....and plus I was using the mesh wrap with the velcro to tie my hair down at nite instead of my satin cap......but now I know...thank you soo much for your vids....

my gosh i wish I knew about switching the directions b/c after wrapping my hair for YEARS nowI cannot wrap my hair at all. my scalp hurts when I do! I'm serious it gets sore even when I switch sides. great vid and great hair :)

I have gently relaxed (child relaxer done 2x per year at most with less than regular time) african american hair down to the center of my back, and I have never been able to achieve this wrap because of the thickness of my hair, and your hair pin trick gives me hope. Thanks for the tip about wrapping in the other direction. I've wrapped my hair going to the right for YEARS. And maybe like 2yrs ago the left side of hair has broken off and been slow to grow. I don't know how it'll come out, but I'm going to try wrapping in the other direction.

You know what, your wrapping tips is very important to me. I always wrap my hair in one direction because I was comfortable with that and I did notice a difference on the sides of my hair some time ago after I gave myself a touch up. Now that I got your tip to vary on the direction of my wrap, I realized what I was doing to my hair and now I can change up a little. Thanks so much for saving my hair! Haha!
