  • The Impreza WRC2008 sounds a bit like the Focus WRC.

  • great videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He could do this much faster...

Didn't win this SS I guess...

  • Bonito tramo, es velocidad pura. De "boring" nada, el Catalunya da su toque circuitero al Mundial. Y la verdad es un gran rally.

  • from 1:45 to 2:10, he goes really fast.

  • He goes reallly fast from 3:23 to 3:35...

And inside village (from 7:10 to 7:27)?! Is just amazing...and beautiful!

  • Enorme Chris, siempre al limite :D

Enormous Chris, always on the limit :P

    atte. KAZZ...

  • I got a couple of questions: where do they come up with the stage map? (like when they call out how fast or slow the turns are) also, is there a webpage on the car restrictions?

  • The organisers provide the crew with road book that has all the road directions in it, the rally starts for crews a few days before the actual event , they go out on the stages for reconnaissance, driving over them twice at a max speed of 80kmph. The first time the driver will advise the co driver of the notes to write down. The next time the co driver reads out the notes to the driver to check and correct. They then drive over the closed stage at speed a few days later during the event as above

  • oh cool, thanks Too bad there aren't any rallies in the US (beside's pike's peak) I'd love to do an amateur rally

  • check out: rally-america. com

I went to the same rally school as Andrew Pinker.

  • serious? where was that?

  • First Time Racing in Perth Western Australia

  • thats real cool, It's basically my life goal to rally, lol

oh, and do separate teams have people to scout the tracks or is it provided by wrc?

  • If you are still talking pace notes? The driver and co-driver (the crew) do their own recce, so each crew has a unique pace note system.

Check out some of the discussion on WRC Facebook also check out the SCCA website.

  • Chris takes a lot of risks, the voice of the navigator is ScArEd! XD

    "LoNg SeVeN, DON'T CUT!!!" XD

    Fantastic.

  • Props to Stephane Prevot, the co-driver. I think he does a fantastic job of reading off all those pace notes in the right timing.

  • Nice Video of Chris !!

  • Thanks!!!

  • I think the problem is his pacenotes, he is too cautious most of the time but sometimes he enters corners too fast, resulting in crashes

  • He's indeed a great driver. But also evident why the top 3 guys are the ones to beat. Chris looks cautious and not as agressive as some others in a lot of corners.

  • Yeah, I'm interested to see what Chris can do with the C4.

  • chris is a great talent, he really deserves to be at the sport's top level.
