  • We need more!

  • Karlfalcon - Thats right! BEFORE the advent of pitch correction. Which makes the albums even more jaw dropping.

  • taylor hawkins must of been inspired by this band (also good performance!)

  • one of the greatest bands of all time

  • Great song . Great live band too ! " Bellybutton " is one of those rare CD's that have good and great songs from top to bottom ! Still trying to turn my friends on to them . Used to play that CD everyday when I had worked at Sam Goody in the early 90's ! That and Redd Kross' " Third Eye ". Love their covers of Badfinger , Fleetwood Mac and McCartney too ! When I had seen them in Baltimore almost 20 years ago , they had done an impromptu version of " Come Sail Away " by Styx I wish were on U-tube

  • WoW...Awesome live performance!

  • WoW...Awesome live performance!

  • totally forgot about this song til i heard it at the goodwill. now i cant stop listening it is soooooo good!!

  • One of the best bands EVER.

  • Should've been the biggest band in the world at the time. They could have been the next Queen or Badfinger. I guess everybody was too busy listening to grunge.....

  • good stuff

  • the lost art of harmony and multi instrumentalists!

  • =DDD love it

  • Amazing!

  • This is the song that got me into Jellyfish.

Saw them at Leeds early 90's and blew me away.

  • these guys don't suck...

  • I love! The most!!!

  • Top five concert for me....for sure. I cannot think of any band these days that can play this well together. Truly too talented for the music business to keep up with.

  • @orbfile Agreed, Jellyfish were one of the best gigs I've ever seen. Four maestros in a straight line across the front of the stage, pitch-perfect harmonies, opening with the power of All is Forgiven, one massive communal dropping of the jaw by the audience - nothing could match it!!

  • The drummer couldn't afford a chair? I never seen a drummer stand. That's a new one for me. Can anyone that plays drums please explain if its difficult to play this way.

  • For someone who's used to sitting, it'd definitely take getting used too. I'd imagine your feet get tired very quickly with the pedals.

  • I play standing..it is .very hard, he's the best I ever seen...not to mention, he's the lead vocal.

  • @stubbyguy it is amazingly harder then it seems, this band had some amazing drum stuff too, plus he was the lead vocal. This is just amazingly talented and awesome as is the rest of the band. Jellyfish were-are-and will always will be the best band ever.

  • @GreatFlamingPoop Wow that's a bit of a bold statement. Perhaps you are forgetting bands like The beatles, Queen, Sex Pistols, The Smiths, Black Sabbath etc etc etc etc?

  • @dowling1981 Sex Pistols? please, the ramones were more punk. but I have agree with the latter...well Jellyfish is the greatest underestimated band ever at least

  • @GreatFlamingPoop I certainly had not heard of them. Are they in the charts?

  • @dowling1981 you've never heard of the Ramones???? o_O

  • @GreatFlamingPoop No, lol, i'd never heard of Jellyfish. From whence do they ply their wares?

  • @dowling1981 San Francisco! This band was genius. Unfortunately, the were overshadowed by the grunge scene.

  • @ItsudemoAibon When shall shall the grunge monstrosity return?

  • The singer's the drummer?!?!?

Wow, I've been listening to this song for years now and I never knew the singer was the drummer too... brilliant song but now I'm even more stunned by this band!

  • Great harmonic vocals. What a pleasure to watch:-)

  • And all before the advent of pitch correction.

  • @Karlfalcon EXACTLY.

  • <333333333333333

  • Drum fill at 2:07. Wow.

  • AWESOME harmonies :)

  • They are awesome live too? I never new this band. I was about 4 when they were out, and I missed out. They were extremely ahead(&)before their time.

  • Jellyfish never really had a "time" if you ask me. They were a phenomenon unto themselves.

  • GREAT!! Giu il cappello

  • Wow, what a blast from the past! Such a great, talented band. They were a rare bright light in a time of dark, grunge (which is why they weren't commercially viable. This is my favorite song from Jellyfish.

  • There's a Jellyfish tribute album coming out soon - there's a page on myspace - if you're interested do a myspace search on : jellyfishtributealbum

  • What a thrill to find Jellyfish on youtube! Thanks!I have loved them forever...they are amazing!

  • I love the kids rockin out in the front row.

  • My fav song from Bellybutton also, fantastic stuff!!

  • I'm so pleased to find all this Jellyfish stuff up on you tube and all these magnificently positive comments. The Good will out. Jellyfish may not have 'made it' but they were a lot of people who did discover them's favourite band. I'm sure they'll be remembered long after most.

  • my fav jellyfish song! i love this band, theres just not enough out there.

  • I wish there was a live DVD of Jellyfish!!! Thanks for posting this footage. Do you have anymore?

  • You see, kids? Singing drummers CAN be cool...take note Phil Collins.

  • This is TALENT. Pure TALENT. 10 out of 10.

  • Wow. I always enjoyed the album version, but this was damned impressive.

  • I should NOT be the 10th comment on this absolutely AMAZING band. They were underrated and underappreciated. I wish I'd seen them live at some point. Thanks for this video of an amazing live performance. If anyone has any current favorite bands that they think were influenced by jellyfish, PLEASE drop me a line at info@ my website name right above.

  • These guys were a fav of mine since they first hit the scene. I saw them live for both album tours. What an amazing band and show. True musicians!

  • this is a great song, do they have anymore dark sounding stuff?

  • The first record, Bellybutton, was a little "darker," if you want to call it that. Depends on what you consider dark. Both studio records are MUST HAVES, although my favorite is the second one -- Split Milk. Best band ever.

  • Anyway, I digress. Awesome band. You know how every band has some clique of fans screaming how great they are? Well, here is a band that's actually really truly great, the real thing. How about that return to the final chorus on "The King Is Half Undressed"?

  • It's sad how 99.9% of musicians can't even come close to this level of skill and genius, yet these people are virtually unknown.

Disturbing that he's actuall playing the fills from the album while standing up and singing at the same time... I can't even find a drummer who can stay on the beat let alone sing full bore.

  • This made me laugh -- how true. Andy is/was unbelievable.

  • Incredible.. Thanks for adding this.. It's a shame nobody really " got " Jellyfish..

  • Vocals are crazy... They were awesome.

  • Thanks for adding this , I love JELLYFISH!
