It's not a beta hunter but hunter from HL2 EP1 which was there only there for the transmission from Judith, thats why it's not atacking or anything.

No when you spawn the Hunter in EP1 he does not detect any entities to attack nor he has a attack but he also has only those animations so he can't kill anyone. And Valve says it is the beta version of the hunter because it was a early design.

The model is beta version oh hunter, there is only one animation sequence only for use in Mossman's transmission and it can't attack as spawned in gmod because it wasn't scripted to attack in ep1.

Crabs: Nothing but animations.

Advisors: SAme with crab but somethimes moves.

Dog: All ingame movements are scripted but in gmod, he only throws small things at you and runs away from anything that deals damage

That's not the Beta Hunter. It's just a placeholder for the Hunter. It can be seen in EP1 Mossman cutscene. In EP2 it's replaced with the real Hunter. The advisor is mostly just a actor NPC, they are mostly supposed to be story characters, although the Advisor has other animations such as the attack with the ''hands'', it's probably just VALVe not bothering to remove the animations (Citizens have the animation from a old HL2betamap.)

The synths we're supposed to be enemies but VALVe screwed up.
