I think one of the most important and powerful things about this band is the fact that they know exactly the impact they have on their fans. Justin put his personal challenges out there for us all to see, and he has done a hell of a job as becoming a role model for a lot of people in need or help..

We all thank Blue October for what they have done not only for all of us, but for themselves as well. Lead by example...

I know that - the song is about one particular thing for the writer. For me it's not about drug abuse - but a deep intense depression that devours your life. Blue October's music has helped me through a lot of rough times and I can't thank them enough for making such deep personal music.

this song is exactly the same for me, ive never fallen into the drugs, but for me after my seperation, i seem to have taken it very hard on myself, and became VERY alcohol dependant. and the depression that just guts you alive.

This is a great song. The world is a hard place. you need to love yourself and stay true to who you are. Drug abuse is a very hard thing...not just for the addict but for those who love the addict. We tend to feel like we did something wrong. When in fact we didnt. And the Addict is just trying to deal with their own issues in a way that doesnt hurt so bad. But instead they hurt themselfs as well as their loved ones. It takes a strong person to ask for help and forgiveness.

My cousin died of a drug overdose at 20 years old. Two days ago, on the 2 year anniversary of her death, we went to a Blue October concert, because she loved music so much, and because the band helped us so much through their music. I love you Jacquie, and I miss you so much.
