I know it may sound a little biased, but I think the English voice of Mario is slightly better than the Japanese version. I think that's because Charles does an awesome job at being Mario!

AFAIK, there is no Japanese voice of Mario. Martinet's voice clips are used in all regions, mainly because he hardly ever says anything.

Really? Because Mario's voice sounds just a little different in the Japanese version. Well, to me anyway. But if you're saying that there's only one voice of Mario, then okay, I guess I have no complaints there.
