It basically depends on the timing of the double tap. The earlier you tap the more chances of it being a flip. The more you delay the more chances of it being a barrel roll.

for those who dont know, the shotgun back filp requires the same buttens that need to be pressed to do it as the barrel roll, the backflip just needs to be done quicker, like the tactical knife flip, thats all

To be truthful so many people have done trick shots and been spinning that it's not fun anymore, play FFA and 4 people are at least snipers, seriously in any game I see sniping and overpowered noob class... Why? most of the time they ignore the objective, the 1 shot kill idea make the sniper rifles overpowered with SoH pro, and bush camping TAKE AWAY THE FUCKING BUSH SUIT!
